So it was a little different - actually being able to walk around and look at things and not yell at a little one to be careful or slow down. The amazing chandelier when you come in! These are the handmade ornaments on the white house christmas tree. They were made by family members of service members from the different states!

Sunday, February 17, 2013. I get it, I haven't blogged in a very long time.AGAIN! It needs to be more of a priority, but to be honest it is crazy and I haven't made it one. We arrived at the ER and were in a room within minutes and after about 3 hours we left with nothing more than a good old fashioned black eye. I couldn't have been happier with all the other things they were considering. This was the first picture I could get. It was waiting in the urgent care as we were watching it swell up!

Saturday, December 21, 2013. The Ugly Sweater 5K! The whole freaking family ran a 5K together. Now here is the amazing part…that Jason ran without someone chasing him, that we all had fun and that the boys actually want to do it again! It was almost hot! So Jason and I found some awful sweatshirts and we put the boys in their Hershey Candylane sweatshirts and headed down to the National Harbor. Oh…I forgot to mention that we had some awesome mustaches to wear as well…this was encouraged!

So when he decided that he wanted to try out for the select baseball team for 8 and under, Jason and I talked about it and said sure. His coach from the last three years was going to be the coach and we hoped he had a good shot, but we knew it wasn't a given. He went to three tryouts and did great! He made the team.
