Monday, February 27, 2006. My 1959 Piper Pacer - Part II. We finally finished CF-XYX in 1984 after 4 years of part-time work. The Pacer was originally painted white with red trim, and ended up with the same paint scheme, but white with blue. Most importantly to me though, she was a * tail-dragger* with 160hp. It was on my Mac, in my office, I'm blogging from my PC laptop, in the family room, so how do I get it into the laptop? I'll email it. Sometimes I'm so swift I can hardly stand it. The Tri-Pacer was a modernized continuation of the Pacer series with a tricycle landing gear configuration (which would have to be modified for my purposes), fixtures for float attachment, 3 more inches of hip-room inside, and (most importantly to me) 160hp.
