Wednesday, January 4, 2012. I've been putting this post off for too long. Something about having to sum up another year seemed like an emotional task. I wanted to be so eloquent when writing about this second year and I finally decided, there is no way to do it perfectly. But, writing nothing is worse than writing imperfectly, so here it goes. Sunday, October 9, 2011. We visited Callaway Gardens last weekend and had a wonderful time. We took our bikes and "cart" as Alex calls it and rode a good bit of the day with alot of stops for little hands to explore. We went to the butterfly center and it was a big hit with the exception of Alex wanting to blow/scare all of the butterflies that came close. On the hayride with mommie and daddy. Saturday, December 17, 2011. Thanksgiving was in Dothan this year. We were back and forth with the family about where Thanksgiving would be held. But, since all the sisters were in Dothan, we made the trek down there. Mom hosted everyone at her house. Last year was my first time hosting and I have to say, it's way easier being a guest. Joyce, Aunt Bobbie, and Aunt Karen. Jeremy and Justin in almost matching shirts. Too bad Jude outgrew is from last year. Gramps and Jude reading previously mentioned book.

Sunday, November 28, 2010. We usually don't travel anymore during this time due to the distance and the fact that we still wanted to be home for Christmas (and drive for that). So we hope each year that some of our family will come to VA to see us. This year, my mom and Bob traveled from Florida to spend this holiday with us. Monday, March 17, 2014. We have a goldfish glider. Adam passed out of goldfish beginner class tonight! He is now a goldfish glider. Go Adam! We are so proud of him! Sunday, March 9, 2014. We went to mass on Wednesday and the kids were so excited to get ashes. Well Adam was. Kate didn't want them but then quickly changed her mind. Wednesday, September 8, 2010. I know.it's been a few weeks since I updated our blog. But here we are in the beginnings of another wonderful college football season. Where does the time go? Here is my favorite photo of Addison so far sporting her Alabama dress. She even says "Roll Tide" when you ask her to. Definitely an Alabama fan! It was kinda rainy and overcast, but actually turned out to be great weather for this event and was unusually cool that afternoon! Definitely going to do this again next year.
