Saturday, October 2, 2010. We also picked peaches and apples. It was a pretty warm day outside and we did a lot of walking around, but it was a fun outing and the kids love picking their own fruit. Monday, November 23, 2009. Wednesday, November 11, 2009. This weekend we went camping at O'Neill Park located in Trabuco Canyon. This is our second time camping here this year. We really like this place! It was overcast this morning but the drive in and out of the park is beautiful with the way the trees grow over the road. Doing some exploring on the bikes. Friday, November 6, 2009. Today was Jack's last day on the farm. Oh my goodness, we had so much fun. I'm so glad that we decided to do this because he has loved every minute of it. It was a little expensive but I felt it was worth it because he really participated and looked forward to doing this every Friday. Maybe we'll even sign him up again in a few months. Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Easter and all that fun stuff! The day before Easter Chelsea and I took the kids to a couple of Easter egg hunts. The kids had a GREAT time and Jack even won a huge easter basket full of stuff and a big stuffed easter bunny. That evening we met Stan and Ivy for dinner. After dinner we came back to the house and they brought easter bags with lots of goodies for the kids. Of course, the kids LOVE the fun gifts. There favorite being the giant lollipop! Tuesday, November 9, 2010. Cowboys can ride quads too. Jack has been really busy lately. My little guy started preschool last month. It was bittersweet for me. I knew that he would love getting out and playing with other kids but he's still my baby. He loves it and wants to go everyday. He has a great time and comes home with lots of stories. I wanted to share another image from Erbs Covered Bridge. This time I shot it horizontally. I wanted to get the entire length of the bridge as well as the white picket fence and the fisherman on the bank. And for an artistic approach I added a Topez Simplify for a painterly effect.
