We finally had our much needed vacation and traveled to the Sans Souci Resort in Jamaica. Though it was vacation and I wasn't going to work.I couldn't help but take a tour of the kitchen and meet with the chefs. And with a big smile too! Next time, I'd add more fresh basil and some roasted garlic. Possibly even a bit of bell pepper and onion. Amy's Fire Roasted Tomato Soup. 1 12 ounce can, Fire Roasted Tomatoes. 1 12 ounce can, Diced Tomatoes. 15 fresh basil leaves. 1 quart- heavy cream. Serve with grilled cheese and salad. So I thought, why not visit the other LA and headed out to sunny California for an adventure. With the the help of the rental car's handy navigation system we explored every inch of the city.
