Ethiopian Elites: January 2010
http://taturdave.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 30, 2010. Must Have Had a Screw Loose. I must have had a screw loose to go running in the ice and snow this morning. The ice and six or so inches of snow, seems to have scared off most of the runners Saturday morning. It was just Sam and me for the 16 miles. Several dozen others showed up for the six miles and a few went 10. Here we are at the start. Okay, I am joking about the down with Coach Kathy, but if any of you have complaints about the route, you know where to go. 49 / 5.0.

Ethiopian Elites: June 2010
http://taturdave.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 28, 2010. Closing Out the Month of June. After the run I went with Kathy and Brian to LaFortune Park and played tennis for an hour and a half. It was the first time I picked up a racket in 20 years. I had a lot of fun, but it exercised a few muscles that running doesn't seem to get too well. My glutes were a bit sore Sunday and even Monday morning. Saturday's run will start at Veterans Park at 5:45 am. Advanced Half, Beginner Full:. Intermediate and Advanced Full:. Take it on the run! Last S...

Ethiopian Elites: February 2010
http://taturdave.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 28, 2010. Giant Slalom Long Run. When the whole group met, Brian and I sent them off and then ran for a bit together, while we formulated plans for the day. At first we were going to just run a few miles and then head back to help the couch to 5k group, but then Brian sent me on ahead and said he could handle it himself. 38 / 5.0. 44 F temp; 53% humidity. 44 F heat index; winds N 8. Those of you who want to see how not to run a 5k. here it is. Enjoy;-). Untitled by robchance at Garmin Connect - Details. Nothing wrong with that time mate. May 16, 2012 at 11:00 PM.

Robsworld: April 2012
http://robchancesworld.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
My Journey Back To Top Fitness. Monday, April 30, 2012. I thought that I would post a quick update. I continue to see results in my progress. It’s encouraging to feel myself getting stronger and feeling the old Rob coming back. I finally cracked the 160 lb barrier in weight and I’m now down to 158 (71 kg). I’m starting to get comments about my weight loss now. I’m starting to think that Branson 70.3 might be a possibility. Links to this post. Sunday, April 15, 2012. http://robchancesworld.blogspot.com/2012/05/breakthrough.html
My Journey Back To Top Fitness. Wednesday, May 9, 2012. That’s getting me back where I used to be. Progress through intensity. Below are the files from my interval session followed by the road ride. The hills started around 45 to 70 minutes into it. Some big numbers there. Look at my heart rate. I haven't seen numbers like that in a long time. Ethiopian Elites: Christmas Training Run
http://taturdave.blogspot.com/2010/12/christmas-training-run.html
Monday, December 27, 2010. As you all know, the normal Saturday run was canceled because we all wanted to celebrate Christmas instead. For the Sunday run I heard that about 80 runners total showed up, and only one of them was an "Ethiopian." I missed because I had plans to go to church. Church was also lightly attended. In fact, the rest of my family stayed home. I hope to see you all out running on January 8th (or sooner if you make the midweek runs). December 28, 2010 at 9:02 AM. A Little About Us.

Robsworld: October 2009
http://robchancesworld.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
My Journey Back To Top Fitness. Tuesday, October 6, 2009. The Woodstock of Triathlon. Recently, my race experiences have not been so great. However, my latest race experience involved minimal travel. This time, all I had to do was load up my equipment in my SUV and drive an hour and a half down the road to Oklahoma City. I didn’t have to pay exorbitant fees for the airlines to lose my bike and the stress level was much lower. After an hour delay, the race director and staff decided to continue with the r...
