Running Without a Watch. National Run A 5k Day. National Run A 10k Day. Wednesday, July 31, 2013. The other day, we had a small pizza party at work. I went a little overboard and I stuffed myself with pizza and coke. My body was angry at me. I felt sick. It was almost as if I ate poison. It hurt when I went running and the heat started to bother me. It even got so bad that I could not enjoy my prerun banana bread. I felt nauseous eating it. It was the worst run I have had in a long time. I ran 11 miles!

It was a little less than 5 miles, but as I have learned from Running Without A Watch, there is not a big difference between 4.7 and 5 miles.
