Back to Africa: Ruthanne Returns. Saturday, August 31, 2013. I hope this letter finds you well. Ah, August. What an interesting month. It started with the arrival of the new staff and “old”/experienced staff and sorting through school supplies, “middled” with the start of school, and ended busily. Mali: Thank you for your prayers concerning the elections. They went well and we now have a new president. Pray. That the new leader, Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, will be able to help restore peace to Mali. Pray.

My sister will be there and my parents have a car so all kinds of things can happen! It used to take 3 hours or so to get there, but now it takes less than two! The road was paved because of a potential hydroelectric dam being built there. Here you see a picture of the beautiful falls and one of our past campsites. We probably won&#8217...

Just a little note ... from me to you

Just a little note . from me to you. Short stories and other fun stuff. Tuesday, November 27, 2012. I was nine years old when I first noticed. Nine years, seven months and fifteen days to be exact. How can anyone talk about their own parents forgetting you at school and then worse, forgetting you exist? Just forget about it! Even if the children themselves are not...

Walking in my Shoes. Walking Across the World. Surviving the Middle School Jungle. Posted in God's Word. I love you all! To the Girl headed off to College. To the girl who headed off to college:. Time flies in college, freshmen year goes by in a flash and it only gets faster. Whenever you meet someone new, the first two questions out of your mouth will be: 1) What’s your major? And 2) Where are you from? College friends are the best friends because they. Push you to be and do better. And so much more.
