Another article was written by CNN about the impact the war has had and is still having on families… click here to read it. We love him fiercely and miss him terribly. Happy Thanksgiving! | Unfolding the story

My dad wrote this thanksgiving day devotional for a team of missionaries serving in Bangkok, Thailand. I thought is was really good and expressed what I am truly thankful for this year. His grace. It happened…I still can’t believe it in some ways. But in other ways I’m wondering what took so long. The actual moving day went so smoothly. No hiccups at all. I’m so glad that my sister was able to come with me. I don’t think I could have done it with out her. I also had some friends and co-worker help with unpacking on Sunday afternoon which was so great (Thanks Harris’! It’s been a little over two months since I first interviewed at StoneBridge and today was my first day. I felt so welcomed! Error: T...

All Things Simple, Photography. Thursday, March 6, 2014. The next two posts are pictures from some fun Birthday parties the kids have been invited to the past month. Its always a highlight for our family to celebrate with others for their Birthday. I think Birthday parties were invented for an excuse to have a fun play date :) I can't wait for Peyton's party this year! What party doesn't have cupcakes :). And opening gifts with friends. I'm so thankful that Peyton has such sweet friends! Amy Roebke - OH.

All Things Simple, Photography. Steven and I were married in August of 2003. Here is our picture on our wedding day! We had a few years to enjoy being married without children. Here we are at a friends wedding in the summer of 2004 at Forest Park. Here we are at Thanksgiving in 2004. We took trips skiing in Colorado with the Youth Group in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010. We even took a moment for ourselves on our anniversary in 2005 and went to Mexico. Here we are in 2007 in Salzberg, Austria.

The Dalbey Times: February 2014

http://dalbeytimes.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html

All Things Simple, Photography. Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Is my life boring? Is my life boring? Do I provide fun activities for them? Am I a good mom? A whole list of questions fill my mind and my thoughts are less than encouraging. Oh yes, I will also note that Peyton was sick this past weekend and any plans I had to hang out with some friends was cancelled due to some sort of virus moving through her system. I'm sure this only adds to the boring schedule that is our life.or so I think. Am I just fo...

The Dalbey Times: Peyton

http://dalbeytimes.blogspot.com/2014/04/peyton.html

All Things Simple, Photography. Thursday, April 17, 2014. I thought I would give a quick update on our little Peyton who is now THREE! Its crazy to think that she has been a part of our family for over 3 years. I couldn't imagine life without her. She is super sweet, energetic and compassionate. Her hair is wild and crazy but it just part of who she is. She loves her babies, princesses and playing dress up. She also loves her friends SO much! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Back to Africa: Ruthanne Returns

Back to Africa: Ruthanne Returns. Saturday, June 6, 2015. This is what I have. Is that the right word? Maybe it is anxiety. So every time I fly, even though I have flown many times, I still listen to the flight attendant giving the information about where the exits are, what kind of flotation device we have – is it the seat cushion itself or under the seat? 8211; I did not know tuna was Arabic in origin). Walking in my Shoes

Walking in my Shoes. Walking Across the World. Surviving the Middle School Jungle. Posted in God's Word. I love you all! To the Girl headed off to College. To the girl who headed off to college:. Time flies in college, freshmen year goes by in a flash and it only gets faster. Whenever you meet someone new, the first two questions out of your mouth will be: 1) What’s your major? And 2) Where are you from? College friends are the best friends because they. Push you to be and do better. And so much more.
