Miss Gene Marshall And Friends: December 2014
http://missgenemarshall.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 22, 2014. Released in 1998, "Warmest Wishes" was one of my first Genes. I cannot believe it took me so long to post about her! Tim Kennedy's circa 1948 design is a favorite of mine. Part of an FAO Schwarz release, she comes with a wrapped Christmas package that has a miniature nutcracker inside. From the story card:. Shopping for the holidays on New York City's Fifth Avenue! Miss Gene Marshall And Friends: Deja Vu: Dramatic Entrance
http://missgenemarshall.blogspot.com/2015/06/deja-vu-dramatic-entrance.html
Saturday, June 13, 2015. Deja Vu: Dramatic Entrance. I was pleasantly surprised by this Tonner outfit for their Deja Vu line. It actually looks as good in person as the photos. Other than the typical white stitching on black fabric, I found very little to nitpick over. Black Lipstick Gene Marshall models the 1920's era dress and coat which is very reminiscent of Cruella de Vil. If you are interested in buying this outfit from Tonner. Miss Gene Marshall And Friends: Pioneer Women
http://missgenemarshall.blogspot.com/2015/07/pioneer-women.html
Wednesday, July 8, 2015. In Season 1, episode 25 of "I Love Lucy" titled "Pioneer Women," Lucy and Ethel revolt against housework and want modern conveniences, specifically a dishwasher. Their husbands refuse, betting that they can survive longer than the girls without using anything invented after 1900, including electricity. The Franklin Mint released an outfit representing the checkered shirt, jeans, and apron that Lucille Ball wore during this episode. I love lucy doll. View my complete profile.

Miss Gene Marshall And Friends: March 2015
http://missgenemarshall.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Fall Preview: Wearing of the Green. Gene gets ready for a St. Patrick's Day celebration, wearing Sandra Stillwell's. Fall Preview fashion. This rich green outfit was part of Sandra's 2014 Toast of Manhattan Convention. I tried hard to resist purchasing any of the fabulous outfits Sandra posted on her site, but this one, based on a 1950s Modes Royal design, won me over. For today's last image, Gene switches out the Fall Preview hat for her J'Adore chapeau:. View my complete profile.

Miss Gene Marshall And Friends: July 2014
http://missgenemarshall.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 26, 2014. Postcards from Cannes revisited. The last time I shot the Madra Lord outfit, Postcards from Cannes, was almost four years ago. I can't say I was really happy with the results. This time, I used J'Adore Gene with a few of the wig caps from Jamieshow. And the photos turned out much better. The fan is borrowed from one of Gene's Ashton Drake outfits. All of the posing made Gene thirsty for a cocktail. Saved my favorite for last:. See more Madra Lord Doll photos on my regular website.

Miss Gene Marshall And Friends: Happy July 4th from J'Adore!

Saturday, July 4, 2015. Happy July 4th from J'Adore! No other Gene Marshall outfit is quite so perfect for July 4th as Stand Up and Cheer by Dolly Cipolla. This circa 1944 costume released in 1999 also came with a festive "noisemaker.". J'Adore does a wonderful job modeling this holiday ensemble. Happy 4th to all! See more Gene Marshall photos on my regular website. Stand up and cheer. July 3, 2016 at 6:45 AM. Thats one of Genes best outfits! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
