Scrambled Megs … with a side of chaos. I’m back (plus survey! Monday, Mar 30 2009. Okay, so I know everyone is dying to hear about France, but I’m much too tired to tell about it now. Instead, I’m going to do the “firsts” survey I was tagged in by Leah! 1 Who was your FIRST prom date? Stephen Breland, freshman year. 2 Do you still talk to your FIRST love? 3 NUMBER 3 WAS MISSING FOR SOME REASON…HAHA. 4 What was your FIRST job? 5 What was your FIRST car? Silver 2002 Chevy Malibu. Mama, on the phone. 24 Wha...

Scrambled Megs … with a side of chaos. Sunday, Apr 26 2009. There is a song out by Mat Kearney right now that says, “I guess we’re all just a phone call from our knees.” I’ve heard that song multiple times in the past few weeks, but it didn’t mean a thing to me until Friday. I’ve only let myself cry twice. Once in the shower where the tears mixed with the streaming water. That one doesn’t really count. The second was when I finally had a moment away from family, with C. He let...Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Scrambled Megs … with a side of chaos. Monday, Jan 26 2009. Things I am good at:. Sleeping, eating, reading things that are not assigned, procrastinating, watching TV, dancing like a fool, judging people on TLC reality TV shows, drinking too much caffeine, thinking about working out, editing, being indecisive, not making my bed, quoting Scrubs, singing badly in the car, recycling, losing ponytail holders, stealing C’s socks when my feet are cold. Things I am not-so-good at:. Friday, Jan 23 2009. So, I...

Scrambled Megs … with a side of chaos. Wednesday, Jul 8 2009. The best part about this vacation has been the down time. While it has had its boring moments, it’s been nice to read (and read. and read.) and lay around absorbing awful TV. (The TV here is truly awful, by the way.). Seeing my puppy would be really nice, too. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:. Address never made public). My life in New England...: Finally...
http://thebanktress.blogspot.com/2009/10/finally.html
Monday, October 5, 2009. After that, we walked home and passed out. Then I had to get up at 4:30 to take Jon to the airport. Fortunately I was able to fall back asleep when I got back and finally got a little bit of rest. I'm so happy to be here finally. The last two months were exhausting. Finishing up my time at work, packing up the house, living without furniture, sleeping on an air mattress, spending some amazing time with friends, and finally moving up here. I miss all of my friends SO much!
My life in New England...: Leah vs. Migraine
http://thebanktress.blogspot.com/2009/09/leah-vs-migraine.html
Wednesday, September 16, 2009. Leah vs. Migraine. I carry fast-acting prescription migraine meds with me everywhere I go. Well, at least I did. except it's been almost a year and a half since I last had one so last time I switched purses I just didn't put it in my new one. Big mistake. Last time I had a migraine was May 3, 2008. Ian and I were in Memphis for the weekend, and it the was the day we got engaged! Plus, Ian twitters. Unless of course you've been diagnosed and are actually having migraines....
My life in New England...: Product plug
http://thebanktress.blogspot.com/2009/10/product-plug.html
Tuesday, October 20, 2009. I'm typically not that loyal to a product. With the exception of 2 makeup items - my fave mascara and bare minerals foundation. Literally, at every single store I've been to since that day I've looked in the lotion aisle for it. First logical place to look? Wal-Mart. Nope. Target? And headed for the checkout. And there, sitting on the shelf among all the other lotions that I hated, was this:. And I was happy :). Because my legs feel so good :-). Love the last part!

My life in New England...: Weekend recap
http://thebanktress.blogspot.com/2009/11/weekend-recap.html
Tuesday, November 3, 2009. The Patriots had a bye week this week so Ian had Friday and Saturday off work. We decided to head to New York for the weekend to visit his family and spend Halloween there. Apparently his family has a tradition of spaghetti and meatballs for Halloween (random, but delicious! We got there around 6:30 and planned to meet a couple of friends in the city for dinner so we had to get ready quickly and run out the door. We met them at a place called Barbone. Ian and his dad. Sunday, I...

http://thebanktress.blogspot.com/2009/09/borrrrrrrring.html
Monday, September 14, 2009. I just wrote the most boring blog entry of all time. So I deleted it and this is all you get. Sorry! Just know that even though you think what youre writing is boring - someone loves hearing about the boring details of your day! My aunt reminds me of this every single time I say my post was random and boring! September 15, 2009 at 12:37 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). End of the 2015/2016 School Year. My life in New England...: April 2009
http://thebanktress.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 16, 2009. I'm a bad blogger, I know. Soooo much has been going on! I had my bachelorette party 2 weekends ago in New Orleans and had the BEST time! It was so great to get to see Rebecca. And awesome that Megan. And Kat drove down with me! It really was the best weekend ever! When we got back, though. I got sick. By Thursday, my voice was gone and it didn't come back until yesterday (Wednesday. almost a week later). I'm sure Ian. The wedding is a little over 3 weeks away. YIKES!

Chasin' Mason
Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Happy Birthday, Little Oliver. Tomorrow, my precious baby turns one year old. Last year at this time, I was as big as a house and so anxious to meet him, yet so nervous and scared at the same time. Was I ready to be a mom of two? Could I possibly love another child as much as I love Mason? Happy birthday, Oliver. Remembering your first year here in this crazy world will always, always, make me smile. A little late, but alas, here is (the better part of) my 2015 rpm album. These songs were recorded directly onto my ipad in various bathrooms throughout vietnam and cambodia during the month of february. The photo was taken in the town of mui ne.

Scrambled Megs n Toast. Urbi Et Orbi 2013. December 25, 2013. Glory to God in the highest heaven,. And on earth peace among those whom he favours (Lk 2:14). Dear brothers and sisters in Rome and throughout the world, Happy Christmas! I take up the song of the angels who appeared to the shepherds in Bethlehem on the night when Jesus was born. It is a song which unites heaven and earth, giving praise and glory to heaven, and the promise of peace to earth and all its people. True peace is not a balance of o...
