Tuesday, December 24, 2013. Just a few pages from my Christmas season album. I also want to do a page with this photo, such a stormy day yesterday that my umbrella has completely had it, metal twisted and cover hanging on by threads. Title has got to be The Weather outside is Frightful but I don't have a fire to finish the line :-D. Have a good Christmas Eve everyone. Today I am grateful for the weather calming down and the sight of the big yellow ball in the sky. For family to spend Christmas with.

Wednesday, May 14, 2014. Playing catch up again. Oops it's over a week since I last posted. Mind you I haven't really done much in the week except the usual things. I felt so low on Saturday and for several days before that I've been eating rubbish, biscuits nuts twiglets cheesy bites etc. Weighing myself today I have put on too much again and am nearly 11 stone. This is going to be hard to shift, especially as all I want to do is nibble. Monday, back to picking oops must try and control the urge to eat.

Tuesday, May 06, 2014. New shelves and a Mini Book. I have a lovely neighbour, he came and put up some shelves for me so I could get all my scrapbook albums together in one place. While I was sorting through all my albums I discovered a mini book that I had started years ago and never completed. I had done most of the embellishments even done the front cover with the title of what I wanted to put in it but not the photos. So that was my task for bank holiday Monday. Today I am grateful for Camelot weather.

Wednesday, January 08, 2014. I was going to be so good this year and blog regularly but it hasn't happened yet. I have been scrapping my Christmas photo though so will start with those. Goodness me I hadn't realise I had scrapped so many since I last posted here. Hopefully I will keep up a bit better now. Today I am thankful for having some really lovely photo of my grandsons. Friday, May 31, 2013. I know, I've been absent for 5 weeks, I just needed a break and to see if I could find where I was going with my blog. I've also had a break from commenting on your blogs but I will be back as from tomorrow hopefully. Still not sure where I'm going but I am taking part in the scavenger hunt that Rinda. Saturday, May 31, 2014. Here are the rest of the pages I have done this month. This last one was done to record my memories and has a lot of journalling attached. My goodness how prams have changed, Here am I sitting in mine, a big old carriage pram. I don’t really remember it but the drop down part seems vaguely familiar, perhaps I played with it as I got older, it was probably the same pram Mum used for Alan who is three years my junior. Sunday, May 04, 2014. The glorious nothing days. Today I have felt lazy again, though I did get to church this morning. This afternoon I've sat in front of the box on and off most of the time but I did manage to finish a layout that I'd started a week or so back. The journalling explains the title. Today I am grateful for lazing around days. For a lovely Sunday roast (which is such a simple meal to prepare and it cooks itself while I'm at church). Love the Save the date idea and photo. Monday, November 25, 2013. Christmas pudding stir up. Saturday I decided would be Stir up day and time to make the Christmas Puddings. This year I wasn't going to do them on my own, I had a little helper. Rufus came over with his Daddy and he and I made the puddings while Neil sorted my paperwork. I left some of the bread for Rufus to grind to crumbs and some of the weighing of ingredients and of course the big stir up with wooden spoons and the Christmas wish/blessing.
