The two female results released were;. Honey (5 years old). She is diving and feeding is water 80 to 100m deep. Her maximum dives have been 120metres. She travels 24km offshore. Aurora (4 years old) dives much shallower 30-50metres and her deepest dive is 100metres. She also feeds closer to shore about 16km off shore.

I went out to the Peninsula beaches and followed Amelie around as she used the radio transmitter to find the female sea lions that she had tagged. It was difficult to find them as they hide very well but with the aid of the transmitters, we found Leonie with her pup. There is no best practice or standard operating procedure to eradicate or control mice. DoC does not intend to write a best practice. There is simply not enough data available. Saturday, July 4, 2009. Just a small snippet. Of a rock wren flitting around in the shadow of the Darrens. The area around Homer Tunnel enroute to Milford Sound is the most well-known spot for viewing rock wren amongst bird enthusiasts. Nothing official is known about how many birds approximately exist in this locality. How viable their population is, or how well they are recruiting. Heres hoping this photographic opportunity exists into the future. There are certainly no guarantees!
