When I first laid eyes on the then-blue Beetle, I noticed that the letters on his number plate were an intriguing combination. Though many people would pronounce those two letters as ". I immediately saw the combination of letters as ". Is a Spanish name and the correct pronounciation for it, I am led to believe, is "Hore-Hey". Didn't seem right for this little Bug. And that is how I knew that the car's name was. From Ipoh to KL.

She weighed in dry at 1,895 pounds giving us a 66/33 (rear/front) weight distribution. The weight distribution will be tuned up a bit before heading back to the east coast – would like to be at 62% rear bias. Trying to find the optimal mix between aesthetics and performance. 17s on a Ghia. Lowered a bit more after initial body placement. Bader-like in stance. No adjustments yet.

Picked up a set on the Samba seamed like a good deal till Jeff checked them out on delivery of them, he realised they were a tag damage. Thursday, 14 October 2010. Stage 1 parting with money. Well hear she is my 67 US spec project ( I could have bought it complete but I didn't have the cash at the time ). Bought as a roller that was advertised as ratty but 100% solid. She was running a 2442 Turbo with water cooled heads, going a slightly different route but large type 1 powered she will remain.
