Wednesday, January 28, 2015. The Prepping Party Continues. Lots more prepping has been done! These little guys will be pillows or pincushions. I got them from Farmhouse Woolens. Next is Harvest Moon. I have been dying to make this one for a LONG time but I just thought it would be difficult to prep. it was actually relatively easy, so I don't know why I get in my head that it is difficult. This is a stitchery/wool applique from Farmhouse Woolens. How cute is that flower pot? I now realize that the proble...

Sue Garman: California, Tennessee, and more!
http://suegarman.blogspot.com/2015/08/california-tennessee-and-more.html
Monday, August 3, 2015. California, Tennessee, and more! Visions of stitching all night have now been popping into my head, but I had those same visions a couple of weeks ago and they did not come to fruition. Still. I am never without hope! So what kept me so busy in July? They began with Linda picking me up at the airport and running me over to the hotel. where my room already had a wonderful gift basket in it. Whee! They certainly knew the way to my heart! I did have a free day before my lecture and t...

http://cowgirlwithquilts.blogspot.com/2015/07/working-on-wool.html
Friday, July 10, 2015. Just finished Garden Row by Ties that Bind, love the way that the flowers go in either direction. Great table runner. This one is prepped and ready to go. The pattern shows the crocks in brown, I decided to do mine in different shades of blue. Can't wait to get started on the hand work on this one. http://cowgirlwithquilts.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 27, 2015. School's out for the summer! The last few months at school were so incredibly busy I did very little hand work of any kind. Several months ago I started Pine Tree Ridge by Jan Patek, I had put it aside until this week. I finished the angel block tonight. Can't wait to get more of the blocks done. One of Goldie's quilts. 2016 UFOs, WIPs, and PIGS. Monday, August 3, 2015. Row By Row progress. I have a few more to make and each one is so unique. There is a theme of water this year so each block has something in it that suggests water. And I've been collecting the license plates from the shops too so I need to decide how I'm going to use those. Labels: row by row. August 3, 2015 at 10:37 AM. Ive managed to resist the Row by Row this year. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Quilting keeps me sane! View my complete profile.
