SIMPLY AFRICAN: I'm Going Home

http://simplyafrican.blogspot.com/2009/07/im-going-home.html

Thursday, 23 July 2009. It's funny. I was born in England. I have spent more time outside of Sierra Leone than inside, I have only ever carried a British passport (until recently) but I'm going around telling everyone that I'm going home. People understand me. Before I explain, they know what I'm talking about. After all they can see Sierra Leone inside and out. So I'm packing my possessions and I'm buying more. Where am I going to put them all? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). What Did I Miss?

SIMPLY AFRICAN: August 2007

http://simplyafrican.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html

Friday, 10 August 2007. I having posted in over a month and I don't even have a good enough excuse as to why I haven't done so. I have been busy is just not good enough as I am always busy and it just requires me setting aside time to do the things which matter. I am learning so much about business and how juggling, especially at this early stage, is one of the techniques to master. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Point of This Blog is. SIMPLY AFRICAN: November 2007

http://simplyafrican.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html

Thursday, 8 November 2007. I met one of the possible suppliers earlier this week. It was a wonderful and productive meeting. We spoke for three hours with me telling him about what I wanted to achieve and him giving me advice on how best to proceed. It did require me going back to the drawing board on some counts but I am pleased about the changes he proposed. I also know now that I will need about £35,000 a month for the amount of stock I want to buy and for warehousing and salary costs. What Did I Miss?

Ethnic Eating: Janssons Frestelse

http://ethnic-eating.blogspot.com/2008/04/janssons-frestelse.html

Because We All Love Food! Sunday, 20 April 2008. Every winter, I miss Sweden. The last few months have been particular difficult for me because for some bizarre reason I want snow and snow is not easy to come by in England. I want a lot of snow and I am just not getting it here in London. However, a couple of weeks ago, I woke up to snow. Yes, in London! So if you do use snus, don't just spit it out onto the pavement. 61558; 1-2 tin sprats (approx. 20 whole sprats). 61558; 2 large onions, sliced thinly.

Ethnic Eating: Couscous

http://ethnic-eating.blogspot.com/2007/08/couscous.html

Because We All Love Food! Friday, 10 August 2007. Having been away for a while, you would think that today's post would be nice and chilled. Infact, today's post is a bit of a rant, so bear with me. I am getting a bit fed up of some of the supermarkets and other stores offering poor qualities of ethnic foods. Why do they not get help or advice from people in the know? Why do they continue to impose these absolutely awful concoctions on people which in turn makes people averse to eating ethnic foods?

Ethnic Eating: May 2008

http://ethnic-eating.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html

Because We All Love Food! Friday, 2 May 2008. The creme fraiche just cut through the utter sweetness of the toffee sauce. There was a slight gingerness in the sponge but you hardly noticed. And it was warm, just right. Really wonderful! I then proceeded to have the rarebit. I know I had an upside down meal - dessert and coffee before the main meal. But who cares? Ethnic Eating: SAFARA

http://ethnic-eating.blogspot.com/2008/04/safara.html

Because We All Love Food! Wednesday, 9 April 2008. Why not decide that tomorrow night is Africa night and try and prepare African food and also get some wines. You know, the more you buy African produce and products, the less poverty you will see on the continent. Buying African provides jobs and then you will be able to stop senidng aid to the continent.
