River Cottage Farm: April 2010
http://windyacresfarmshop.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Weston A Price Foundation. Beaverdam Creek Farm - CSA. Thursday, April 29, 2010. Break Out the Grill! Or not. Just when we thought Spring had really arrived, we got hit with another cold snap. Hopefully it's warmer where you are! Still, I had summer food on my mind and so I used a grill pan to cook up some delicious Korean Barbecue Burgers. On top. They would be great without the kimchi too, but I think it added a nice zip. Did you know you can get kimchi in the farm store? Recipe taken from Cooking Light.

River Cottage Farm: August 2012
http://windyacresfarmshop.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Weston A Price Foundation. Beaverdam Creek Farm - CSA. Thursday, August 9, 2012. Three years after my children and I left our farm in Indiana for the warmer climate of Kentucky we finally have our own farm! Is where we will set down our roots, in more ways than one. I was surprised to see that it has been over a year since I posted on this blog but with all the work it has taken to move a farm and start over this blog has fallen between the cracks. Blog and see what we've been up to over the past year.

A blog for all things culinary.and more. July 31, 2012. In praise of figs. I feel like I hit the jackpot this summer. Not the kind of jackpot that would make me rich, but I honestly think I am just as happy, if not more, with the one I've won: I've come into a windfall of figs. And not only are they gorgeous and exotic, delicious and hard to come by, but they happen to be my favorite fruit to cook and bake with. Call me crazy, but I can't get enough of this amazing fruit! 1 and a 1/2 cups of sugar. Shout...

A blog for all things culinary.and more. August 21, 2012. The pride and perils of returning to work. So I started a new job. A couple of weeks ago and despite that fact that it's kicking my butt, I am really happy. But on unimportant details like how lucrative or practical they are, I wouldn't be me. Nevertheless, I am really happy to have this opportunity. The chocolate pie that nearly killed me. Zucchini-olive oil cake with lemon glaze, cooling. June on her first day back at "school".
