The Distinguished Radical: Bus Stoppers
http://distrad.blogspot.com/2008/10/bus-stoppers.html
Karl hite's eclectic blend of interweb commentary. Friday, October 24, 2008. Date: Fri, Oct 24, 2008 at 9:35 AM. 9:35 AM (10 minutes ago). So I arrive on time at the bus stop. This girl is there to whom I've said "hi" a couple of times. She works at the MTC and rides the same bus 2 or 3 times a week. So she starts up some small talk and says "Any big plans for Halloween? Uhh not really, Office and 30 Rock on Halloween Eve.". HAHA you're so funny! She had the wrong idea. Hah, B.Y.O.P. What was I saying?

The Distinguished Radical: Tuesdays with Morrie: a crash course in accepted wisdom
http://distrad.blogspot.com/2008/08/tuesdays-with-morrie-crash-course-in.html
Karl hite's eclectic blend of interweb commentary. Friday, August 15, 2008. Tuesdays with Morrie: a crash course in accepted wisdom. This is the first in a possible series of republications of papers that I was forced to write for school about subjects I wasn't interested in that somehow turned out okay. The following is a review of the smash hit "Tuesdays with Morrie" by sports journalist turned cult leader, Mitch Albom. 8221; and, “Are you trying to be as human as you can be? Deep This meeting sets a p...

The Distinguished Radical: A fun game to fish for compliments
http://distrad.blogspot.com/2008/07/fun-game-to-fish-for-compliments.html
Karl hite's eclectic blend of interweb commentary. Monday, July 28, 2008. A fun game to fish for compliments. If you want to read some sappy explanation of what this is, click the link on my sidebar that says "Smalgina" or something. Then scroll down. 1 As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew me a little or a lot, if it is recent or years old, silly or serious–anything you remember! The bill dill abar! You're a legend, Karl! Blah, blah, blah.

Land of Betsy: August 2011
http://betsythenerd.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Alone with my thoughts. Kids are asleep. Nick is at school. Work is done for the day. I am enjoying a few blissful moments of silence, which are few and far between these days. I can actually hear myself think. Anyway, it's getting late. And I have to fold the clean laundry that is on my bed so I can get into it. Ah, bed, I love you. Sunday, August 7, 2011. 9 on, 9 off. Since I had twice the amount of kids do I get twice the amount of time to work off the baby body? I think yes&...

Land of Betsy: Garden
http://betsythenerd.blogspot.com/2012/08/garden.html
Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Dudes, I just harvested 8 cucumbers and 1 zucchini out of my garden. My tomato plants have had a recent population boom and I hope to harvest some delicious vine-ripe fruits within a few weeks. One of these days I'll get a photo of my cute garden and my awesome home-grown organic harvest, but today just use your imagination. Your style of writing is incredibly entertaining, I enjoyed it thoroughly! February 17, 2013 at 4:15 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Land of Betsy: For MOMs by MOMs: Introduction
http://betsythenerd.blogspot.com/2012/05/for-moms-by-moms-introduction.html
Monday, May 7, 2012. For MOMs by MOMs: Introduction. I thought I would come out of my relative state of hiding to participate in a MOMs (Mom of Multiples) linkup. I'm Betsy. 32 year old working mom of awesome 16 month old fraternal twin boys Judah and Asher. The boys are spontaneous twins (aka a BIG SURPRISE! If toddler years with boy twins are harder than the first year, I can only imagine what my life is going to be like with twin girls! They already fight and steal toys and pull hair. haha!

Land of Betsy: Festivus Bed-Restivus
http://betsythenerd.blogspot.com/2010/12/festivus-bed-restivus.html
Friday, December 24, 2010. Festivus was yesterday, December 23rd. I was expecting a relatively quiet Festivus holiday, but instead got the following. This is what my feet look like normally. This is a dramatic reenactment of what my feet looked like on Wednesday night. Sadly I didn't have the wherewithal to take a photo - thanks Google Image "pregnancy cankle" search! Test for those keeping tabs). That one also came back negatory, which means that it's highly unlikely that I'll give birth in the next...

Land of Betsy: April 2012
http://betsythenerd.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 27, 2012. After some random inspection drama and an interesting mortgage procurement process (being in a different state) we bought the Blue House! And are moving into it at the end of May! Karl and Allie will stop by for random quality control checks over the next few weeks to make sure that the local youths are behaving and that hobos and/or a family of raccoons has not taken up residence. Can't wait until moving day! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Men want her, women want to be her.

Land of Betsy: March 2013
http://betsythenerd.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 24, 2013. The fact that I have a panic attack when someone else announces a pregnancy is a pretty clear indicator that I'm not planning to add another kid to the mix any time soon. I'm not ruling it out in the future, but no future Nitsy kid is imminent. Early Intervention is totally awesome, but a drain on me emotionally. And our schedule. Did I mention that in the month of March we had 12 EI appointments? Our kids have started daycare as a sanity-saving measure, and they are thriving ther...
