Tuesday, January 26, 2010. The next 3 days we visited , ate great home cooked meals, shopped,& went over charts with Cliff who had lived on board and cruised 12 years. Fog and weather held us there until Sat. AM. The Gulf was a flat calm with minor swells which let us make good time. We arrived at Burdine's Marina at 4 PM and docked in slip 13. Wednesday, December 23, 2009. Panama City and Beyond. We left at daybreak with our travel boat,(Capt. Stu). Every thing was going really well until we hit a crab trap off the coast of Swannee and that took out the port engine. Sunday, February 7, 2010. Keys to South Florida. Proved to be a good place to be for a couple of days. From there we went to Boca. The passage was interesting as we went through narrow places with mangrove islands on each side and then would get into wide open bays with very few markers. The approach to Boca. Tuesday, September 21, 2010. TRAVELS ON LAKE MICHIGAN TO CHICAGO. Weather became a factor and we stayed over here before going to Muskegan. The travel to Muskegan was borderline conditions and we had a rough ride but made it in a few hours. The waves become confused and rougher as we went and we were happy to get off Lake Michigan and into the calm protected waters of Lake Muskegan. Saturday, August 28, 2010. TURNING SOUTH ON LAKE MICHIGAN. The first port was Charlevoux where we hung out for three days due to weather. The whimsical stone house by architect, Earl Young was here. Words on life, learning, love and salt! Preggo at 44: The End Is Near. June 17, 2015. I’m around 37 weeks pregnant. My feet are so swollen. My legs and hips hurt. I’ve gained 40 pounds and my body is protesting. The baby is about 7-1/2 pounds right now and not remotely ready to come out. I’m cranky in this never-ending heat and humidity. We’re having July/August weather in June. Does that mean we’ll get September weather in July? I feel like everything is getting away from me. All I want to do is sleep.
