Struggling Domestic

Saturday, May 26, 2012. Nothing fancy right now - just an update in the Hasselfeld Home Horticulture dept. We did the salsa garden! Rubbermaid tote - painted. Filled with soil, and planted 2 tomatoes, 3 tomatillo's, 2 jalepenos, 2 banana peppers and some Walla Walla's! Like my $2 watering can? I won't hardly ever use it, but I liked it with the color combo. Here is the lone Roma Tomato plant (transplanted from the smaller empty pot) and the lone Jalepeno! I love me some challenging projects, so Hubs and I put this one together without a tutorial! It was frustrating, but fun! 1 String of Lights (target). Oh, i...

Let's take you up to our house and get to bandaged up." When we got there, she propped my arm up on a pillow at the kitchen table, grabbed all her nurse stuff from the hall and started to get to work. Upon further inspection she changed her diagnosis to "Remember how I said it wasn't that bad? There is a tiny bit of super...

Struggling Domestic: Sunday Success

http://strugglingdomestic.blogspot.com/2011/10/sunday-success.html

Sunday, October 30, 2011. I'm starting my own with this post. Lets turn this into a pat-on-the-back end of our week! But wait, there's more. I mixed this recipe with this. Recipe. Basically, I did everything mentioned in both recipes, plus the banana peppers. It was amazing. I give you, Crock Pot Potato Soup. This pat on the back I mostly owe to my crock pot, because she did all the work. So yummy. And yes, I added mustard. What did YOU accomplish this week! November 1, 2011 at 12:19 PM.

When my thoughts run wild, this is where they run to. Monday, May 14, 2012. Bless the little child. Tonight while babysitting and playing outside with my 4 year old nephew, my sweet little 8 year old neighbor, Becca, was talking to me. Becca might be 8, however, I have decided she has an old spirit. She loves to mother all those around her. Our conversation went something like this-. Becca: I bet you just can't wait to have kids. Becca: But why not? I love this girl! Thursday, May 10, 2012. I don't know ...

http://annettecoleman.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html

When my thoughts run wild, this is where they run to. Friday, January 27, 2012. Endure what needs enduring. My dear friends Ross and Haylie gave me a book for Christmas one year about running. As most of you know, I LOVE to run! So to read about others and what motivates them to run, I love that! One by one, I'll face the tasks before me and complete them as best I can. Focusing on each stride forward, but at the same time taking in a long-range view, scanning the scenery as far ahead as I can. I love to...

As I said in my last post, I am taking a Fly Fishing class. The classroom part is over as of last night. I had so much fun and now we get to go out on the river Saturday. I can't even contain my excitment. Part of the instruction was learning how to tie our own flies! Friday, April 6, 2012. They go this way, they go that way, they are confused. I lov...

http://annettecoleman.blogspot.com/2012/06/you-run-because-theres-something-in-you.html

When my thoughts run wild, this is where they run to. Friday, June 1, 2012. Crossing the finish line. You run because there's something in you that wants to get out there, in the middle of nowhere, and think about something. It's a way of freeing yourself, getting back to what I really believe people are supposed to be doing instead of relying so much on a bunch of material crap that only makes us weaker. We are built to run, to cover great distance, for survival sake.". A sea of 20,000 other runners.

When my thoughts run wild, this is where they run to. Friday, March 2, 2012. In like a Lion. I couldn't wait for March, just to be done with February. I hate February. Worst month of the year! January is a close second. And this year I had to endure one additional day in February because of Leap Day. But then came March finally. My spirit was noticably lifted. Thursday, August 8, 2013. Disclosure: Sleep Number provided me a bed in exchange for a review. However, all opinions are my own*. Have you ever been to a Sleep Number store? I hadn't prior to my visit and I had no idea what to expect. I have been to other mattress stores where you walk in, lay on a few beds, and leave. Sleep Number is not like this at all! I went in and explained to the staff why I was there and they were so excited! This is the bed. These were the two beds we were able to choose from,.
