Beverly Hills Mosaic Hotel
Beverly Hills Mosaic Hotel. Day One - The Mosaic Hotel. Our trip to Beverly Hills. We found our hotel, The Mosaic. Once we got all settled in, we headed out on foot to find a place to eat. We found The Nosh of Beverly Hills. Just a few short blocks up on Santa Monica Blvd. Serves breakfast and lunch, closing at 4:00. What caught my attention was that avocado was listed as a side! We bought some Jose Cuervo margaritas to enjoy on our patio. Back to front page). Posted by Sue Knapstein.

Hollywood Walk of Fame
Hollywood Walk of Fame. Hollywood Walk of Fame. Our first morning in Beverly Hills. Had us strolling back to The Nosh. For breakfast. Again, I was surprised at what was on the menu for breakfast. Not avocado, this time, but what I grew up with knowing as "Eggs in a Basket" and The Nosh calling "A Hole in One". Two slices of bread with a hole cut in the middle, then a fried egg in the hole. Good, good, good! Back at the Mosaic. We stopped to ask Ben what was the easiest way to get to Hollywood. It was ver...

To the Beach - Santa Monica
To the Beach - Santa Monica. Santa Monica Beach and Pier. After having a great night's rest, and breakfast at our favorite, The Nosh. We planned to go to Santa Monica. To see the Pacific Ocean. We took off our shoes and stood in the Pacific Ocean. Then we walked toward the pier. It was huge! It was so neat to stand under the pier and watch the waves come in to shore among all those pylons! That was one of my favorite moments. Too cool! There is also a Trapeze School. On the pier. Unfortunately. We walked...

Rodeo Drive
When we got back from Santa Monica. We took a little breather on our favorite patio. We decided we had to see Rodeo Drive since we were only four blocks away. Then we would head off to dinner. For those of you who don't know me that well, I am not a shopper. So Rodeo Drive. Was not high on my list of things to do. But, since we were so close, we had to go and say we've been there. Mike noticed shoes, of course, and pointed out a shop selling Mephistos. Back to front page). Posted by Sue Knapstein.

Sue Knight's Blog
Wednesday, 12 August 2015. Not an Eagle's Feather. There is a feather floating like an exquisite hovercraft over the balcony tiles this morning. Its beauty and its engineering tell me of its Grand Creator, Jehovah of armies. And it also reminds me of a poem - Browning? That I am now going to see if I can find online. And, yes, there it is. Its the ending of his poem "Memorabilia", and it goes like this:. I crossed a moor, with a name of its own. And a certain use in the world no doubt,. The Kindle app ca...
