SEPTEMBER 2016 - NCN 55 Stafford to Newport Greenway ride. Brian, Denis and Bob decided to have a ride along the Stafford to Newport Greenway i.e. NCN 55 today and meet up with Paul from the Stafford Rangers group who looks after it. We met Paul in Gnosall. In April 2013, Bob from the Lichfield Rangers thought it would be a good idea for neighbouring ranger groups to meet up. DECEMBER 2016 - Vegetation clearance - Walsall to Pelsall section:. It all seems to be happening this month and in a positive way for a change. David, Sustrans new ecologist, visited the volunteers in October and gave some good advice on how to manage the Greenway i.e. the Walsall to Pelsall section. David could see that the volunteers do what they can and are doing a good job but even with the the support of the CP team, they needed help.
