Wednesday, August 6, 2008. On a run one day (a time I often hear from God), a man in a pick-up truck stopped me to ask for directions. After I finished telling him the best way to go, he said, “What about going back that way? Won’t that get me back to the highway? I thought sheesh, you asked me for directions! Why are YOU telling ME which way is better? Then I told him, “Sure, you can go that way, but this way is really better.”. I thought, we are sometimes like that with God. Well God knows our desires.

Monday, December 31, 2007. I had a wonderful, relaxing Christmas with my family. I am very blessed to have a loving, supportive family that's also lots of fun! I am also thankful for their generousity. They all went together to get me a really nice camera. My mom decided to start a new Christmas tradition. All the grandkids made a birthday cake for Jesus.
