Sunday, November 1, 2015. How did it become November already? I swear I was only exclaiming how it was October only like week ago! Wellat least a new month means a new Currently. I think you can see a theme here. Yepmy body is finally given up on me and the first cold of the school year is on it's way! I'm actually very surprised I've made it through sick-free this far. I was expecting to get sick during our two week Fall break but I guess not! Hoping for a fast recovery. We shall see! Subscribe to: Post...

Ms. Wu Teaches: Five for Friday
http://mswuteach.blogspot.com/2015/09/five-for-friday_25.html
Friday, September 25, 2015. I'm back for another Five for Friday post! We started our Legends unit this week. The kiddos are currently "researching" legends by reading various legends and looking for certain components in the legends. Can you see where this research is leading us to? If you guessed, writing our own legends then you are correct! We are going to be publishing our legends into a hardcover book, just like the Cinderella stories. I did when I taught second grade! This is my first year of doin...

Thursday, July 17, 2014. Five for Friday - Summer Edition. Well, I am not back in the US and boy is it good to be back! It feels so great to be away from the humidity. I can't tell you how much I hated the sticky feeling all day. I actually got back on Monday, but after a couple of days of getting over jetlag I'm back just in time for Five for Friday! Staying in a tatami-style hotel. Traditional Japanese breakfast included). A room inside Kumamoto Castle. Visiting Aso volcano, an active volcano. A couple...

http://mswuteach.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 29, 2015. March Recap [PICTURE HEAVY POST]. Did you miss me? I also didn't make Five for Friday like I had said because date night got moved to Friday so didn't get home until late. Spent the rest of the night preparing for the job fair on Saturday (more on that in a future post) so just didn't have time for it. The theme for this year's Read Across America was "Oh, the Places You Will Go". St Patrick's Day Activities. We read The Luckiest Leprechaun: A Tail-Wagging Tale of Friendship.

Friday, August 22, 2014. Five for Fraturday - New Year, New School, Old Grade. It's been a while since I've blogged. Why is that? I'm not teaching second grade this year. I am back in first grade! First thing's first.some classroom pictures! To be honest, I'm not completely satisfied with how the classroom looks decoration-wise. Most of my time was spent getting manipulatives and books organized. But eventually things will look the way I want them to (I hope)! Before (left), After (right). It's half off ...

Wish me luck! Here are my fun facts! I do not like chocolate. One piece of chocolate is usually my limit. Fruit flavored candy on the other hand, is a totally different story. I can eat those for a while. So I have to choose my teas very carefully. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Welcome to my front door! When you w...
