While we were in Houston for Thanksgiving, we headed to the Houston Zoo. The girls had fun, despite the crowds! We were also able to take advantage of a great park in John's parents' neighborhood. I mean really likes it enough that it makes her HAPPY? Today when I told Ella to stop picking on Audrey and making her cry, Ella looked up at me and said "Mommy it makes me so happy to do that." We put together a fun castle and carriage made of cardboard that you could play inside and color all over. It was a lifesaver! The girls ate their meals in it, brought their baby dolls inside and had lots of fun drawing and coloring all over it! Ella asked me if I had something like this when I was a little girl and I told her "No, we used Refrigerator boxes instead." She looked at me like I was crazy.

We have Barbie dolls, baby dolls, purses and dress up clothes. We own every princess item they make and it is clear when we go into Target that Ella and Audrey have no interest in the "boy aisles.".
