Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Gearing Up for Winter. In the Spring, a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of winter biking. Or at least, mine do, though I'm neither young nor fancy. I did, however, endure a long, nasty winter here in the Boston area. There was no one single cataclysmic storm, but lots and lots of small storms, repeatedly slathering the bike paths with snow, and bringing plenty of rain, sleet, wind and other goodies.
