NL10 Observations – Part 1 – DO NOT BLUFF!!! | thebackson
https://thebackson.wordpress.com/2012/02/02/nl10-observations-part-1-do-not-bluff
NL10 Observations – Part 1 – DO NOT BLUFF! You can win bluffing close to 0%…. I honestly believe that you can beat this level without bluffing! Yes, you have to table select. Yes, it can be a bit boring waiting for decent hands. Yes, you get sucked out on by fish sometimes. The plain and simple fact is that if you can table select fairly well. Keep your discipline (fold ffs! Value bet to a fair standard you will beat this level over a decent size sample. People aren’t exploiting you…. I have called this ...
NL10 target – January 2012 | thebackson
https://thebackson.wordpress.com/2012/01/28/nl10-target-january-2012
NL10 target – January 2012. In January I want to:-. 1 Play at least 10,ooo hands at NL10 (on PartyPoker). 2 Beat NL10 for a win rate of at least 4ptbb/100. It is the 27th January now! I set these targets in December though. The first target is interesting for me because I never really had much idea of how many hands I play per month. As it is 27th now I can confirm that I have met this target just recently. Posted in Micro targets. Newer Entry →. 2 thoughts on “ NL10 target – January 2012. Anyways, I can...
Finding My Level – Why start at NL10? | thebackson
https://thebackson.wordpress.com/2012/01/27/finding-my-level-why-start-at-nl10
Finding My Level – Why start at NL10? I have had a comment on this blog (which I am most grateful for) asking why I am playing at NL10 when I am so massively over rolled for it. For those who don’t know, it is widely advised / accepted that to play at any particular level you should have 20 buy-ins (or 25 or 30 it is not set in stone) available. So for NL10 the buy in is $10 so to play this level you should have $200 as your bankroll (20 x $10! My bankroll is $3795 so I have 380 buy-ins for NL10! It neve...

Jack Wilcox – R.I.P. My good poker friend passed away last night in a motorcycle accident. Jack Wilcox was the nicest guy you could ever wish to meet and was a brilliant poker mind and player. He would help anyone and everyone and would offer sincere and thoughtful advice and would refuse to take anything in return. Jack, you are a very special guy and you will be missed by all who know you. I love you man. Newer Entry →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public).

I decided at the end of January having completed the targets set for that month to have a 4 buy in shot at NL25. Well that has been and gone already! The stats look like this :-. Lol Pretty shocking to be honest! Played ok in the main. Reviewing the whole session it was all lost in five hands. One hand I played AK OOP in a 3bet pot and hit Top Pair Top Kicker and lost to AA – standard. Link is here… http:/ weaktight.com/4365008. Figures in brackets are from NL10 in January. W$WSF 49.7% (39.9). He would h...

Back pain occurs and is perpetuates through a neurological process:. Specific nerve fibers know as Ad and C, or "capsaicin sensitive" or "pain nerves" are activated. Their activation of these nerves causes pain, inflammation, and muscle contracture. A vicious circle is initiated because inflammation and muscle contracture maintain the activation of the pain nerves.
