The Bohle’s | living a life of hope.

https://thebohles.wordpress.com/author/thebohles

Living a life of hope. Author Archives: The Bohle's. August 5, 2016. 9 months. Wow. Harrison is growing faster than I realize. Since summer has started, I’ve been able to slow down in our daily pace and really enjoy the laid back summer days with the boys. It’s hard to believe that Harrison is almost 1! It seems like just yesterday it was last summer and I was 7 months pregnant! Whew–time needs to slow down. This month has been a big month for being mobile! One of Harrison’s most favorite activity? Harri...

Living a life of hope. Blog saturated mom. →. September 7, 2014. This post is a little different than most of my posts on here. I typically give updates on life with August–telling about his milestones and how we are consuming our days with him. But, I thought I’d share a bit of what has been on my mind lately. With every soapbox I stand on, I try to think of a solution. I guess for now, my solution is to care. To care for those people and care enough to try and walk alongside others. To care...Thanks fo...

summer of 2014 | living a life of hope.

https://thebohles.wordpress.com/2014/08/17/summer-of-2014

Living a life of hope. Oh, so you…. Food justice. →. August 17, 2014. Summer is coming to an end. Whether I like it or not. Stores have their back to school sales, I’ve spend 20some hours in my classroom preparing for my new batch of 1st grades, and the temperatures are reflecting fall rather than summer. Right now, the end of summer is feeling a little more bitter than normal. I think it’s because I have loved every second of being home with August (aside from tantrums and meltdowns). I kn...You are com...

Living a life of hope. Bohle family christmas letter. →. November 18, 2014. This time of year, you hear over and over what are you thankful for? It’s something I ask my students, reflect on for myself and have been asking August. The coworkers who greet me with a hug and smile everyone morning. A teaching team where we sit hours upon hours sharing ideas, planning lessons, and supporting one another. The students in my class who daily set an example of Christ-like love and service for one another&...Think...

bohle family christmas letter. | living a life of hope.

https://thebohles.wordpress.com/2014/12/22/bohle-family-christmas-letter-3

Living a life of hope. Bohle family christmas letter. December 22, 2014. It’s that time of year again–when the annual Christmas letter gets mailed out. Each year as I pour time into writing the letter, stuffing the envelopes and addressing the cards, I wonder how much longer this tradition will continue. Well, this year didn’t seem like the year to put an end to a 75 year family tradition. SO–without further ado, here is our annual Bohle Family Christmas Letter. Amanda continues to teach 1. Grade, her bi...

Our Life: November 2014

http://believegrace.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html

Friday, November 28, 2014. Search for the Perfect Christmas Tree. Henry has firmly entered his Thomas the Train phase. He is constantly asking to watch Thomas and if I ever want to distract him, I just tell him to go play with his trains. Stella borrowed nana's reading glasses, I love how she is pursing her lips. Leila wanted to take charge at the grocery store, she took my purse, the list, and pen. Jeremy and I took a vacation! Then drove over to Frankenmuth and walked around. And so was the snow. Appar...

Feet For The Path. My everyday thoughts and adventures as I learn God's will for my life and try to follow Christ - Praying God will give me feet for the path He's chosen for me. Saturday, May 10, 2014. Tulip Time with Toby. It's May and in Holland, Michigan that means it's Tulip Time! After a few minutes we moved farther away from the fountain and I finally ate my supper, sharing bits with Toby who was a little unsure with the whole setting. Links to this post. Feet For The Path. My everyday thoughts and adventures as I learn God's will for my life and try to follow Christ - Praying God will give me feet for the path He's chosen for me. Saturday, October 4, 2014. If you asked most kids where they'd like to go for fun, Disney Land or Disney World would probably be one of their top choices. It's just a fun, happy place. If you asked my dog where he'd most like to go, he would surely answer "the dog park" for the same reason. Toby loves the dog park!

Feet For The Path. My everyday thoughts and adventures as I learn God's will for my life and try to follow Christ - Praying God will give me feet for the path He's chosen for me. Thursday, August 6, 2015. New York City - Day 1. We arrived at our New Jersey hotel around 5:30 and then headed into the city for the evening. Did you know the Lincoln Tunnel goes under. I hope they keep checking to make sure there are no leaks! About half of us had New York pizza for supper at Cafe Rustico II - delicious! And w...

Our Life: July 2014

http://believegrace.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html

Monday, July 14, 2014. Saturday, July 12, 2014. Another beautiful summer day playing outside with the water table. The kids love to pour the water into pails and watering cans and whatever other toys they can find. Stella: where are my eyebrow-things? I don't see them anywhere. The sprinkler is also becoming a favorite. We have lots of bunnies in the yard this year, see if you can find it! I had sent a picture of us playing outside to nana and so she and Duie could not resist stopping by to see us too.

Our Life: January 2015

http://believegrace.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html

Saturday, January 24, 2015. I was making Henry's allergy free bread in the kitchen while Jer played Sorry! With the girls. When they finished the game, Leila packed it up and put some blankets on Jer so he could take a nap. The girls grabbed the iPad and played some games while he slept. Today we finally made our first snowman of the year! Jer and the girls rolled up the body pieces. Jer wrote the kids' names in the snow and the kids decorated Olaf. The kids loved using the markers to color in the snow.

Wednesday, September 17, 2014. September in full Swing. Here is Henry with all of his comfort items - a Bob the Builder DVD, almond milk, his puppy, and his dino. Stella got slightly messy with the wowbutter. The big boys decided the kids could not have all the fun. And took turns on the swings. Henry giving Greta some love. Henry attempting to put his shirt on himself. Stella is copying Leila's style. Neither will let me choose their clothes anymore. The girls enjoyed chasing the rooster around. Friday,...

Sunday, May 11, 2014. More Parades and Costumes. Today was the Saturday parade. I took the girls and met my parents and their friends at the spot we have watched the parade every year that I can remember. We sat with Nana and Papa, Barb and Rich, Dona and Jerry, and Dona's daughter Lisa's family. After Henry woke up from his nap, Jer brought him down and met us there. He loves anything loud, so he really enjoyed the parade. Stella, telling her great great aunt Duie about the parade:. Thursday, May 8, 2014.

Our Life: February 2015

http://believegrace.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html

Saturday, February 28, 2015. Leila reciting Psalm 23, she likes having the Bible to give her hints if she can't remember what comes next. Leila was pretending to be the mom and put Stella and Henry to bed. Henry is wearing Leila's nightgown in the sleeping bag. Stella loves making this face for pictures. Henry is organizing the jewelry into pitchers. Today we went to The Shoe for breakfast and the girls split a giant cinnamon roll. Next we went to the train show. And of dad and Stella eating a donut.

Feet For The Path. My everyday thoughts and adventures as I learn God's will for my life and try to follow Christ - Praying God will give me feet for the path He's chosen for me. Saturday, April 12, 2014. Last year I went to Florida for spring break. Loved it! I finally understood why so many people ventured south for a week. Warm temperatures, sunny skies, sandy beaches…I had every intention of making this southern trek a new spring break routine. What I Did on my Spring Vacation. Raked the back yard.

Sunday, April 21, 2013. Our little Betsy turned 3 today. She is the best. She is so tiring but even more fun. She has a kind heart and is always concerned about being "nice" even though she isn't always :-) She still loves to play by herself and is very independent. She's very into playing pretend and reading. I can't believe she's 3. Needed a little help from Mommy. Miss B. sat in the baby swing for the first hour of the party. Excellent hostess. living a life of hope. | married, working with college students, teaching preschoolers, raising a son, loving Jesus

Living a life of hope. Married, working with college students, teaching preschoolers, raising a son, loving Jesus. My little patch pal. August 5, 2015. About two weeks ago we went to a follow-up visit with August’s eye doctor. During that visit she told us that he would need to start wearing an eye patch and potentially need surgery within the next few months. Once he got Downtown, he ran through the streets shouting, “LOOK AT MY EYE PATCH. DO YOU SEE THOMAS? This also made me think about how much of a m...
