The Life and Times of Jonathan, Christine, Maggie, Jack, and Thomas. Friday, February 5, 2010. Walk Like an Egyptian. In January, we got the once in a lifetime opportunity to visit Egypt. Jonathan was invited by Sir Magdi Yacoub to present his research at a meeting to kick off a surgical mission by Chain of Hope. In the plane. yes, that's right - backwards). Our totally awesome upgrade, thanks to Jono. The cutest little boy in Africa, if you ask me. Seriously, does this even need a caption? A friend of o...

The Butcher Blog: That Blissful 10 Minutes of Peace...
http://thejonbutchers.blogspot.com/2010/06/that-blissful-10-minutes-of-peace.html
The Life and Times of Jonathan, Christine, Maggie, Jack, and Thomas. Wednesday, June 23, 2010. That Blissful 10 Minutes of Peace. Thomas had crawled up onto the bench seat all by his big-boy self. Talk about leaping into toddlerhood. It is such a sweet moment of satisfaction when you see your kids playing quietly and nicely together. like a brief glance at 3, 4, or 5 years into the future when this is the sort of thing they will hopefully enjoy on a more regular basis. Friday, February 12, 2010. Finally, I am "snowed in" and found some time to post. Noah is in the bouncy seat right next to me, getting his yummy tube feeding. ( After yet, another unsuccessful attempt to feed him a bottle) Nathan is happily napping in a swing. ( I am typing fast, that could change at any time). Here are some pictures of our first month with both babies home! Our Friend Joshua Hwang came for a visit! Mamaw Grace came too! I LOVE bathtime (and hooded towels). Nathan LOVES his bath!

The Turner Tanks..: March 2011
http://mlturner.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 28, 2011. 1 year ago tomorrow. Noah was in surgery. Heart surgery. I cannot believe it has been a year! My sweet, sweet little boywas born with a 4mm VSD or hole in between his ventricles. He also had a smaller hole that didn't close at birth like it should have.Everyone thought he was fragile, but not me. I knew if that little scrapper was fragile, he wouldn't be here! What an awful awful time that was, but so many people made that day , that week better! Noah as Buzz Lightyear. I will lif...

http://turnertanks.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Its A Boy's Life. Its A Boy's Life. Tuesday, July 17, 2012. Fill in the blank. A good beach trip is. A late night drive that seems so short because the conversation was good. Cupcakes and mint brownies. Sunrise on the beach and Sunset on the docks. Playing in the waves until you have blisters on your feet, salt in your eyes and sand, well, in unmentionable places. Loving each others kids almost as much as your own. The same goes for each others Mamas. And sisters in law. Thursday, July 5, 2012. He would ...
