The everyday gardener | gardening on Vancouver Island
Gardening on Vancouver Island. September 11, 2012. A different perspective…. This morning I awoke with a very clear sense of non-purpose. Having gone with two friends yesterday in the medical profession – true helpers – for a day trip, I left my day feeling bereft of meaning in my work. Yes, I garden for others, and while that is beautiful, I thought, and doesn’t bring harm in any way, I mused, I have no deep sense of fulfillment in my work, I concluded. Happy gardening…happy harvest! September 6, 2012.
