The Flying Needle: March 2014

http://theflyingneedle.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html

Kate's cross-stitch and quilting. Thursday, March 27, 2014. I'm back and feeling better at last. First, a stitchy update then all the details about my health. Way back last year I received a travelling pattern - Summer Splendor by LHN. We were in the middle of renovation hell so I pulled threads and chose fabric and put it in a safe place. Then I couldn't find it again until I had unpacked all my sewing room boxes after the new carpet was laid. Just over a week later I got a call from her school. It ...

The Flying Needle: October 2014

http://theflyingneedle.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html

Kate's cross-stitch and quilting. Thursday, October 16, 2014. Latest finishes and a close call. First, here are my latest finishes. 1 Red House in Winter by LHN. 2 Frosty Flakes by LHN. I got most of this finished on Sunday - the V8's were racing at Bathurst so watched that on TV all day, then it was the final of The Block on TV that night. Both had dramatic finishes. I grabbed some time last night while dinner was cooking and added the beads before I had to go out. Sorry if I haven't replied to you.

Kate's cross-stitch and quilting. Friday, January 30, 2015. Stitch From Stash - January. I think I've missed the cut-off for this month but here is my monthly report. Not much stitching done this month. I've been only working on Fall Mandala. I was given some money for Christmas by my Dad so I've put $50 of that into my stitching fund. Good for you. Keep cool if you can! January 31, 2015 at 12:14 AM. Very well done. And so great to have tis addition of the gift. Helps a lot, lol. Stitch and Serve :).

The Flying Needle: SFS - April

http://theflyingneedle.blogspot.com/2015/04/sfs-april.html

Kate's cross-stitch and quilting. Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Stitch From Stash April Report. Carryover from previous months: $125. Finishes for April, yes there are 2! First, here is my finished Fall Mandala. I did less than half this before January, so I'm going to claim half the stitching credit. Stitch count: 101 x 101 100% coverage - $15 x 0.5 = $7.50. I also started and finished a small LHN - Silent Night this month. I used the recommended fabric and threads. Stitch count 49 x 49 = $4. Great finishe...

Little stitches: april 2012

http://katrienslittlestitches.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html

Maandag 16 april 2012. It's been a long time . Since my last update, shame on me. Unfortunately I didn't have much to update on. Due to some health-issues (will say more on a later update), I was on bed-rest, so stitching-mojo decided to take a vacation. He refused to return later! And now for the current pic:. And this is where I am on my Snowglobe SAL part 6/8:. Stitching-mojo still refuses to stitch on thise one however. My first ever award. 4 Share 5 random facts about yourself that people don't know...

The Flying Muskrat

Friday, July 16, 2010. A New Webseries: The Zombie Diaries. I've decided to work on my acting and what better way for a writer to do so then writing, producing and acting in her own web series? It's pretty emotional (or at least I think it is) because it's about a girl who is turned into a zombie during a zombie epidemic where everyone who is infected and found out is killed. Here is the link to the first episode. Please comment, rate and subscribe! Http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? Posted by Miss Morbid.

The Flying Nabateans

Once upon a time, in a kingdom far far away, the ancient Nabateans travelled the Silk Road on their camels. Thursday, July 30, 2015. Tuesday, July 28, 2015. How about Sydney for our first post on this adventure? So what to do? Thanks for the many good wishes we continue to receive. The Flying Needle - A Cross Stitcher's Tale

The Flying Needle - A Cross Stitcher's Tale. Friday, January 30, 2015. I choose this kit because it reminded me of the strawberry fields me and my daughter picked from last Spring. I think we walked away with 18 pounds if strawberries! I still have some in the freezer but not many. We are planning on going back this year! This strawberry has clusters of beading that really gives it some great texture. It's hard to tell from the picture though. I also managed to get Project #4 done tonight. I love it!
