http://thegardenexperiment.blogspot.com/2009/08/our-first-sweet-million.html

Article from the BBC. 160;I felt a lot better when I read you might be able to transplant the carrots you pull from the ground while thinning out the row.  . Site for photos).  . 160;I found an.

One woman's attempt to cook 365 recipes in 365 days. Monday, February 14, 2011. Day 44 and 45 - Pancakes, pineapple, chili and pesto. I'm making up for lost time! Sunday morning I decided to make some pancakes. R suggested a package but I decided to go from scratch. It's incredibly easy! I decided to try Todd's Famous Blueberry Pancake recipe. The recipe calls for the mixture to sit for an hour so I also decided another fruit salad was in order. This time I bought a full pineapple - skin on! 1 pkg Lean g...

One woman's attempt to cook 365 recipes in 365 days. Saturday, January 29, 2011. The beginning of January was going so well. Then life started happening again! Still I'm making some big improvements. On Wednesday (the 26th), though, I wasn't feeling well. When I got home all I could stomach was soup. So I made possibly the worst kind but it's so good when you're sick - Lipton's chicken noodle soup. I will add photos as soon as I find the cable for R's camera. 1 Pound Spaghetti (or Linguine). Add the shri...

One woman's attempt to cook 365 recipes in 365 days. Tuesday, February 8, 2011. Day 39 - Burritos! Mmmm I kind of love everything I make. Or almost everything. But tonight's dinner was especially delicious! Here's how I made it:. I poured most of the liquid out of the beans and put them in a pot on medium. I added two tablespoons of Epicure's taco seasoning. A teaspoon of lime juice, and some fresh cilantro. I tried the lactose-free sour cream before using it and it was really good! Monday, August 10, 2009. UPDATE I talked to a friend of the family in the SUV. Both husband and wife are suppose to be released from the hospital either today or tomorrow (Tuesday). Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Patience and I went to Plainview on Saturday and were almost involved in this. SUV ran a stop sign and pulled on to the highway. I was able to swerve and miss him, but the little red car in the left lane was not. Now to the most awesome part of this story. This is six year old J, s...

Sustainable, organic and native gardening in the suburbs of St. Paul. First plantings of the year. April 24, 2012. I planted the onions, radishes, carrots, cilantro, spinach and chard today. Put the tomato, pepper and basil plants outside for about 5 hours. Meant to keep them out for only an hour. Whoops. Fortunately they were in the shade the whole time but one tomato plant is looking a bit brown. Thankfully I have way more plants than I can actually use. Fruits of my labor. April 24, 2012.
