Friday, August 29, 2014. We've been in Doha for nearly 2 weeks now. And I'm finally ready to get this blog rolling. First, an important announcement. We have decided to make our blog private. Tuesday, December 27, 2011. I used it one month, and the blood tests showed that it hadn’t worked. So we upped the amount, and tried again. I found out I was pregnant on May 28, 2011. It was the day after the last day of school. We were absolutely thrilled. The only other day I’ve been that happy is when I married Steve. We couldn’t wait to tell our families! Why do I have to suffer this, now? What have I done to cause this? What am I to learn from this experience? What am I to change? Whom am I to help?

Thursday, April 26, 2012. Hawaii Day 4- March 12. I have been so excited to blog about this day, because I think it was my favorite day in Hawaii. We went surfing! I am a big time ocean lover, and I've wanted to surf for a long time. So this was a very exciting day for me! Thursday, November 20, 2014. Kayaking in the Gulf. The staff at our school was given the amazing opportunity to go kayaking with Entalek Ecoadventures. A few weeks after we arrived here. We drove about an hour north of Doha to the city of Al Khor. From there, we were able to kayak out and around the mangrove forest. It was really neat to see some of the natural beauty of Qatar and to learn more about the importance of the mangroves in Qatar. What is the importance of mangroves? Kayaking in the Gulf.

The transition has had its ups and downs, but we are SO grateful to the staff at Awsaj and everything they've done to help us get settled here in our new home. So- Here is a brief recap of our first month abroad. :). By the time we got home, all we wanted for dinner was cold cereal. And that turned out well for us, because grocery shopping has been very challenging! The driving test was an adventure in and of itself! The rest...
