Roatan May8-15, 2010. Tuesday, September 30, 2008. September 24, 2008. It is the day before Picture day and do you think that the boys need a haircut? They hate to get their haircut, with all the itchy hair that falls on them,. So this time I told Parker that he could have a "real" haircut at the barber.after all it was going to be picture day tomorrow. Believe it or not.He wanted me to cut it! I guess he's just used to it by now. Maybe one day I should learn how to do it the real way! Sarah loves to be ...

The Ojuka Family: Venice
http://ojukafamily.blogspot.com/2014/06/venice.html
Ken, Kathryn, Julius and Naomi. Monday, June 16, 2014. We left the castle in Tuscany and drove 3 hours to a hotel in a town near Venice. When we got there Dad realized there was a bus that takes you right to Venice (about 30 min) and the bus stop was right outside our door. Dad was sure that would be much easier than driving in and parking. And it was. So we went to Venice for the afternoon and evening. And oh my goodness we loved Venice! The cathedral was under construction. The Bridge of Sighs. As soon...

The Ojuka Family: Vinci
http://ojukafamily.blogspot.com/2014/06/vinci.html
Ken, Kathryn, Julius and Naomi. Thursday, June 12, 2014. We went to a little town called Vinci where Leonardo Da Vinci was born. There is a little museum in his house and down the street a bigger museum in a castle. Olive trees all over the hillside. View from the house. View from the castle museum. Inside are tons of replicas of many of the ideas Da Vinci had. All made from the plans he drew. A cute house in town. The Castle in Vinci. We stopped in another little town with a pretty view. So This Is Love.

Ken, Kathryn, Julius and Naomi. Sunday, June 15, 2014. This is it for the castle. I took lots of pictures because it was so great and we wanted to remember it. Going carefully down the staircase from our room. We were up on the top floor. Some of the lemon trees that were everywhere. Posing as The David. Naomi liked our little yellow fridge. Our apartment had 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen, and tons of charm! Getting ready to load the car. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). So This Is Love.

The Ojuka Family: Vienna Day 1
http://ojukafamily.blogspot.com/2014/06/vienna-day-1.html
Ken, Kathryn, Julius and Naomi. Wednesday, June 18, 2014. We got to Vienna in the early evening. We wanted to get out since we had been in the car all day so we just took a walk around the neighborhood of our hotel. We stayed pretty near the city center at a Marriott called The Imperial Riding School. The train station was right behind our hotel which might sound bad but it was great. Train stations in Europe are nice, like little malls. There was a grocery store in it too which was nice for us. Czech Re...

The Ojuka Family: Vienna Day 3
http://ojukafamily.blogspot.com/2014/06/vienna-day-3.html
Ken, Kathryn, Julius and Naomi. Saturday, June 21, 2014. We drove up into the hills around Vienna to get this view. Vienna sits in a pretty valley and the Danube River runs through it. The hills that surround the city are called the Vienna Woods (Kahlenberg). It's a short drive from the city to get there and there are lots of hiking trails and outdoor activities. Apparently city buses even take you up there. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Julius Otim One Week Old. Matt Melissa Baby June.

The Ojuka Family: Florence
http://ojukafamily.blogspot.com/2014/06/florence.html
Ken, Kathryn, Julius and Naomi. Sunday, June 15, 2014. We parked up on a hill above the city, near this church. Julius on Ponte Vecchio. Naomi on Ponte Vecchio. Somewhere in Rome Julius saw a David statue and couldn't stop snickering. "I spy a naked statue" became a fun game for the kids. Julius really wanted to go see the "real naked statue" in Florence. This is the replica that stands in the square where the original used to be. Naomi spied a naked statue. Church that was originally a granary. Then whe...
