I bought some yarn at the market and the little old lady who lived next door to me taught me to knit. A member of the Minnesota Button Society and National Button Society, Mary Titus is a passionate collector of all things old, odd, and delightful, especially antique and vintage sewing buttons and needlework related stuff. About five years ago Mary and her daughter Laura started the small business ButtonsUp! Both Laura and Ellen (Mary’s other daughter) lend a hand selling at Minnesota flea markets during the summer months.
