The twin bedroom is on the first floor and is the same size as the double bedroom. There is a third pullout bed available in this room. The room has an equally superb view of the estuary as well as an oblique view of Tom's boatyard. Through a third window.

During the winter Polruan pool is empty. The yachts are brought into the protection of the boatyard and laid up until the weather improves. The boatyard is still in constant use. Ships of all sizes can be seen, from The Lookout, in the dry dock throughout the year. The occasional square rigger still visits, just as when Daphne Du Maurier was inspired to write her first novel, The Loving Spirit, based on Jane Slade. Who had run the boatyard some 50 years earlier.

All of the local pubs and the larger hotels serve food but in addition there is also a large number of restaurants. Is the best bistro in Fowey; cool music, even cooler staff and the foods pretty good too! No booking. Go with the flow and you'll never enjoy a wait for a table so much.
