The Love is Here. Some food for thought…. December 10, 2014. December 10, 2014. I love this quote from It Starts with Food, and I think it’s a great thing to keep in mind. Today, we’re sold so many things at the grocery store that aren’t food at all, (Cheez-its anyone? And yet we keep throwing that trash into our bodies. I won’t pretend I’m perfect because I’m far from it, but I think if more people kept this in mind… We would start making healthier choices as a society. Let It Go with some coffee!

The Love is Here. Finally, I decided that I had enough, and was ready to give Whole30 a shot. I’m not going to lie. It was really tough to wrestle with the idea of giving up chocolate. But I did it. Reflections are Good for the Soul. Whole30 – Day 1. My roommates and I officially started Whole30. The idea of Whole30 is to give your body a nutritional reset. For 30 days you avoid grains, sugar, alcohol, dairy, soy, and legumes. Essentially, you eat meat and veggies with some fruit and good fat. A friend of mine introduced it to me after she did it and loved it. I highly recommend reading It Starts with Food. Menu – Day 1. Breakfast: Bacon, Arugula and Tomato Quiche.
