There's Always Next Year

There's Always Next Year. Blazers Blog for the eternal optimists. Thursday, February 16, 2012. Better off without our All-Star? Blazers Finally win in Oakland. By Jonathan Ryan Davis. Just a quick review for the readers about Portland's two biggest struggles/flaws for this year:. 1) Winning close games. 2) Winning on the road. http://theresalwaysnextyearblazers.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html

There's Always Next Year. Blazers Blog for the eternal optimists. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Patty Mills: “That’s What I’m Talking About! In no way is this actually real news. Haters of the spoils system and nepotism are furious this evening as Paul Allen, owner of the Portland Trail Blazers, convinced the Blazers’ front office to tender a qualifying offer for his BBFF (bigger best friend forever) Patty Mills. But, Allen is an Israeli Sabra at heart: hard on the outside and mushy on the inside. When Mills...

There's Always Next Year. Blazers Blog for the eternal optimists. Wednesday, August 31, 2011. REMEMBER ME: JAMES “HOLLYWOOD” ROBINSON*. Sorry for the delay in posts this past week.we were busy trying to convince our neighbors in NYC that we don't live in LA or FL with our earthquake and hurricane here. Look for more posts coming later this week. Remember James “Hollywood” Robinson? How could you forget a 6’2” southerner named “Hollywood”? The fable goes “Three sons of Robin will bring golden rings ...

There's Always Next Year. Blazers Blog for the eternal optimists. Saturday, February 11, 2012. Blazers v. Hornets Recap—A Lazy Road Win. By Jonathan Ryan Davis. Portland has the pieces to be an elite defensive and rebounding team. In terms of defense, for the five minutes they applied defensive pressure to the Hornets, the Blazers dominated the game, forcing repetitive turnovers and converting them to easy baskets. Then that energy disappeared and NO stayed in the game. Throughout the rest of...The real ...

...there's always music in the air...

There's always music in the air. A place to keep some order on my knitting endeavors and other crafty aspirations. Jun 4, 2008. I haven't blogged too much this year, but I haven't really knit that much either. My lovely husband gave me a set of sock needles from Knit Picks for Christmas and I immediately started a pair of socks for him with yarn that he picked out on our honeymoon. This week I finished the first sock. His feet are large, my hands and needles are tiny, so that explains that. Comments: Goo...

Always Next Year | "I led the league in 'Go get 'em next time.'" – Bob Uecker

I led the league in 'Go get 'em next time.' – Bob Uecker. MLB realignment intruiging, but would hurt upstart rivalries. June 16, 2011. Note: the author is trying footnotes on a template not exactly designed for footnotes. let us know if it works. Ever since I can remember, my St. Louis Cardinals have had to play five other teams in their division. One more than everyone else, except the American League West which only has four teams? Does it necessarily make it right? Out of the seemingly two choices on ...

There's Always Pizza

There's Always Pizza . But, my point is I don't spend a lot of energy on side dishes. The easier they are the better. These potatoes are so easy and everyone loves them because they are crispy and salty like french fries, but they are not fried. All you need to make these are a wooden spoon, sharp knife and an oven. Pop these suckers in the oven while you are preparing your main course (or heating it up if you bought a pre-made meal:) and when you are ready to serve dinner the potatoes will be done and d...
