Calloway Chronicle: June 2013
http://callowaychronicle.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 21, 2013. One sunny afternoon, our family decided to go on a picnic adventure. So, a circuitous drive down the highway later, we found ourselves at Besant Campground. We found a lush picnic spot. with no playground. Although confused, disappointed and not understanding how there could be a place without a playground, the boys amused themselves by playing hide and seek:. And looking at bugs:. While the girls sat on the grass playing with toys and watching the boys. Happy, chubby baby girl.

Calloway Chronicle: water therapy
http://callowaychronicle.blogspot.com/2014/02/water-therapy.html
Thursday, February 20, 2014. It's not a new concept around here but one that I seem to often forget and have to dust off when there is a toddler in the house again. Avery is still enjoying water play but is starting to move toward more productive play.or maybe it`'s just me being hopeful. Either way, he is still entertained by it and had no problem having a sink to play in all to himself. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Calloway Chronicle: January 2013
http://callowaychronicle.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 19, 2013. Maia was born at home. In my bed. She was my shortest labour but the most intense. I happened to be the "perfect" candidate for a home birth - my first two pregnancies and deliveries were normal and this pregnancy was also deemed low-risk. While liking the idea of delivering at home, in my own space, I had mixed feelings about it. All the while, her brothers slept. Friday, January 18, 2013. Our third child was born. Nine days later we moved. Six days later my husband went back...

Saturday, February 22, 2014. Do you have a narwhal? Do YOU have a narwhal? And the theme repeats. At least once a day. And, in our house, all letters are now equated with animals. To the point that when giving my postal code over the phone, it is now S as in squirrel, A as in alligator and L as in Lion. Oh, the wonderful world of a preschooler! Thursday, February 20, 2014. Calloway Chronicle: August 2013
http://callowaychronicle.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 10, 2013. And now it is the chair my middle child likes to sit in after his nap to watch a show. Friday, August 9, 2013. For Father's Day this year, I made capes. That is, I made a cape for Avery, for Lane, for their dad and an extra one for my dad when he is at our house (or whoever happens to be here that needs one). Swords are often clashing and slashing around our place so it seemed like a fantastic idea to have capes to go with it. And run some more. Saturday, August 3, 2013. Orange...

Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Fritzing cold weather 2 year old 4 year old 2 month old = a mom going insane fairly quickly. What to do, what to do. Make a snow day! If we can't go outside to play, we can bring the outside inside. Balled up pieces of paper quickly become snowballs:. Marshmallows can turn into snowmen:. And cotton balls, buttons and glue guarantee this mom won't be setting foot outside today:. Forget turning lemons into lemonade; we just figured out how to turn -30 degrees into fun!

Thursday, February 13, 2014. I went to check on Lane one afternoon during quiet time and had a hard time finding him. But there he was, tucked into his little "house" having a wonderful sleep. I must admit, I was a slight bit jealous. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Big Smartypants Quiz: Answers and Winners!
