yet...another day without 6th period (and better off): Note the weeds.
http://luggers.blogspot.com/2010/03/note-weeds.html
Yetanother day without 6th period (and better off). Sunday, March 28, 2010. They grow in the hostile cemented sand we call our "back yards" here in San Diego. The soil is rugged.dry like the desert. Hardly soil, the ground is hard as though kitted together by pressure. This rocky land seems to be fit for nothing but preserving fossils. How do the weeds grow? How do the weeds grow.months on end without rain? By October they were dead. Months passed by, and then it rained. And BEHOLD. Why note the weeds?

http://luggers.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Yetanother day without 6th period (and better off). Saturday, November 29, 2008. Looking out into the sea from sunset cliffs during a sunrise with a dear friend. Not only does God declare himself through the beauty of creation, He. Sometimes when my day doesn't carry-out according to the schedual I create, I'm thrown off by dissapointment. Sometimes when my life doesn't carry-out as anticipated, I'm thrown off by fear. How is this soothing? It is But how. Can it be; for it is completely out of control,.

The Mid-Century Modern Housewife: Belly Casting 101
http://midcenturymodernhousewife.blogspot.com/2010/11/belly-casting-101.html
Thursday, November 18, 2010. So because my daughter has decided to take her dear sweet time I actually had the awesome opportunity of casting my belly at 40 weeks and 1 day! They generally recommend you do the casting at least 2 weeks prior to your due date in case you deliver early, but obviously my child is in no apparent rush to get out. My sister-in-law Val bought me this casting kit made by Pearhead. Then you basically follow these simple steps:. 5) Once you are done casting the belly wait about 5-1...

The Mid-Century Modern Housewife: A baby story
http://midcenturymodernhousewife.blogspot.com/2010/12/baby-story.html
Tuesday, December 7, 2010. So here we are 14 days into being parents. And now I finally understand why everyone kept telling me to get more sleep. you live and you learn :). Anyhow let me get to the point of this post - Eliana's Birth Story :). So we start this long journey of how our dear Eliana came into the world on the morning of November 19th, 2010. In my opinion these pictures are evidence that I married one of the most amazing men on the planet. And waited 4.5 years to have kids with him. Our litt...

The Mid-Century Modern Housewife: A Baby Story...
http://midcenturymodernhousewife.blogspot.com/2013/07/a-baby-story.html
Thursday, July 25, 2013. For some odd reason I didn't consider writing out Roma's birth story. Since I was having a scheduled cesarean it didn't feel like there was much to tell other than I went in, they numbed me and then a few cuts and badda bing badda boom we had a BABY! Thankfully I have awesome friends who remind me that no matter how a baby comes into this world, the story and adventure is still unique and wonderful. They all seemed so calm, chill and routine. I wanted to scream. Make sure...I cou...

yet...another day without 6th period (and better off): April 2009
http://luggers.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Yetanother day without 6th period (and better off). Tuesday, April 28, 2009. I hate you, pen.". Context: Last night, about 12:30 AM, sitting atop my loft bed, writing to God. Wedged in between delicate prayers, with clash-like interruptions, my written thoughts violently yet truthfully reveal the current condition of my heart. My journal entry for April 27th is something similar to as follows:. Prayers.blah.blah.prayers.). This pen sucks.". Prayers.blah.blah blah.). I want to throw it off my bed.". Journ...

yet...another day without 6th period (and better off): When diagnosis leads to perspective....the blessing.
http://luggers.blogspot.com/2010/01/when-diagnosis-leads-to-perspectivethe.html
Yetanother day without 6th period (and better off). Friday, January 15, 2010. When diagnosis leads to perspective.the blessing. So I suppose this is an update. I have no idea how I wrote so religiously a year ago. blogging doesn't feel natural anymore. But for the sake of one reader being blessed, here is what's on my heart. She described everything so perfectly that I got kind of excited-"yes, there is a name for this condition I have, and other people have it, which means doctors know about it.". Frant...

The Mid-Century Modern Housewife: Cymbalta - Depression Hurts
http://midcenturymodernhousewife.blogspot.com/2011/03/cymbalta-depression-hurts.html
Friday, March 4, 2011. Cymbalta - Depression Hurts. If there was one word that would be considered an antonym of my life I think depressed would work quite well. There is hardly a day where I do not have a smile on my face and even on my worst days I feel like I can still make the sun shine out of my ass (. Props to Diablo Cody and Juno's Father - one of my favorite lines in that movie and my apologies to those who think ass is a rather terse word - I am quoting someone else so be mad at them). Since Eli...
