A fine WordPress.com site. May 19, 2012. Today I went on a hike around one of the lakes! It was a pilgrimage many people took and there was a little church at the top. The views were breath taking and afterwords we went to Hallstatt! It was so much fun! I only tripped one time, but I’m so glad that I went. On the way home I saw Mozart’s birthplace! A fine WordPress.com site. May 15, 2012. It’s a little chilly here, but just my temperature! I’m in Mozart’s birth place and he has a lot of dedicated fans. I really wanted some liederhosen, but I don’t think they make penguin size. I’m pretty proud because I learned to navigate the bus system all by myself. I think I’m going to go to the pub later. The Austrian food is delicious so far. I love the schnitzel! I’m going to go on a tour of salzburg. I’ll uploade pictures later! Oscar J. Otter.

A fine WordPress.com site. Salt Mines and a Concert. May 28, 2012. I went to Salzburgs Salt Mines and then I went to see a concert in the Dom Cathedral! Salzburg was very famous and gained a lot of wealth through the mining of salt. Salt was very important to preserve food. In the salt mine there were lots of slides! It was how they got from one level to the next. Then the concert in the Dom was beautiful. I really enjoyed the work, and the cathedral was beautiful too. Grossglockner almost to Italy!

A fine WordPress.com site. May 24, 2012. Today I went to the fortress! It was kind of rainy but it was still pretty. The views were really good. It is one the best maintained medieval fortresses in the world! And, I even met another penguin who was working the front desk. I found everything very interesting!
