Wednesday, August 17, 2011. 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk. 1 cup heavy whipping cream. 3/4 cup fresh lime juice. 5 teaspoons finely grated lime zest (about 3-4 large limes). 3 cups coarsely crushed graham crackers. In a large bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, cream, lime juice, lime zest and salt until well combined. Spread the graham-cracker pieces on a large plate, unmold the paletas and press each side into the graham crackers to coat completely. Serve immediately.

Purple Monstrosity Fruit Smoothie. 2 Frozen bananas cut into chunks. 1/2 Cup frozen blueberries. 1 Cup orange juice. 1 Tablespoon honey (optional). 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract (optional). Place bananas, blueberries, and juice into a blender, puree. Add honey and or vanilla. Use more or less liquid depending on the consistency you prefer for your smoothie. Fresh Veggie Bagel Sandwich. 1 bagel, sliced in half. 1 tablespoon coarse-grain brown mustard.
