https://carpentercreek.wordpress.com/2008/12/14/tragedy

On the Shores of Carpenter Creek. Laquo; Blackmail…. December 14, 2008 by desperatehorsewife. I went to make my morning hot chocolate…and my can is nigh empty! Not nearly enough for even half a cup! Oh…how could I have been so distracted as to not refill my chocolate… How will I function today? The horses are just darned lucky I managed to stumble out to them in the dark and feed prior to being deprived of my morning’s blood transfusion…. Guess that’ll have to do for now…🙄. 8212;——. Monday, February 21, 2011. For a long time. we've "been there and done that". Before I had ever heard the Dervaes name ( in fact I had only heard about them about a year ago) urban homesteading(o.k. I guess I better put a big TM here) has been in my family's blood for quite a very long time. Then when my grandfather passed away my grandmother came to live with us, and the farming tradition didn't stop just because we lived in various towns/city limits. Garden Goose: June 2010

http://gardengoose.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html

Saturday, June 26, 2010. So much has gone on lately. So we rushed to the Er and found out that he had a blood clot and pulmonary embolisms. Yikes! So we wound up having to camp out at the hospital for a full week. Of course we did not plan on the hospital being our first "must see" place to visit in our new town that's for sure. So after having been released on the 18th we have had several dr's visits and hubby is slowly, slowly on the mend and slowly being able to gain mobility back in his leg. Pull up ...

Wednesday, April 1, 2009. Tea is one of the mainstays of my life.  Every morning, I have a large mug to start my day.  The amount of caffeine in a cup of tea helps me wake up gently, unlike the sudden jolt of coffee. And of course, save those tea leaves and coffee grounds for your garden, they're great additions to the soil! Labels: simple pleasures tea. One of the th...
