Engaging...: Sitting in Starbucks...
http://engagingink.blogspot.com/2010/06/sitting-in-starbucks.html
8220;The two most engaging powers of an author are to make new things familiar, and familiar things new.” Samuel Johnson. Sunday, June 27, 2010. The hustle and bustle of Seoul city life stands in stark contrast to the lulled conversations of those sipping coffee next to me. I plan to enjoy the next few minutes by sipping my own over-priced specialty drink. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

The Woman Problem in Politics. Essays about Writing, Politics, and Movement. As it is affectionately called by those who work to hammer it out, is a (generally) biweekly, (always) free community newspaper coming out of the north side of Lexington, KY. It’s a DIY venture undertaken by folks who want to write about Lexington as they see it–with a critical eye and sometimes a bit of humor. Mercy Street: caulk
http://mercystreet08.blogspot.com/2008/12/caulk.html
Saturday, December 13, 2008. Don't read this post if you're squeamish about hygiene! 160;OK, you've been warned. Greg recently recaulked our shower, but it turns out that when the tube says it needs 24 hours to dry, it actually means much longer. We know this because of the water leaking through our kitchen ceiling. . But here's the thing: I FINISHED MY WORK! And then I washed my hands. Now people (Dad) can stop asking! Also, nice buns. The Woman Problem in Politics. Essays about Writing, Politics, and Movement. The Woman Problem in Politics. Here’s the scene: two women, sitting in a coffee shop, discussing the mild political dust-up over Hillary Rosen’s comments about Ann Romney’s lack of preparation to be Mitt’s “women’s economic advisor.” We–Cannon-Marie Green Milby and I–. Because we’re the 53%. During the course of this election and its aftermath, Cannon-Marie and I will be writing on The Woman Problem in Politics. Look for us there.

8220;The two most engaging powers of an author are to make new things familiar, and familiar things new.” Samuel Johnson. Tuesday, November 24, 2009. New Update from Korea. A bit overdue, but here nonetheless: an update =). That was a huge encouragement to me (and one of the only things that motivated me to train, and consequently, finish the race) =).
