Seiberspace Illustrator: The journey so far...
http://seiberspaceillustration.blogspot.com/2013/11/the-journey-so-far.html
Monday, November 18, 2013. The journey so far. So it has definitely been a while since my last post and my poor blog has been somewhat neglected. A lot has changed and I feel this is as good as place as any to update everyone on how things have been. In short, things couldn't be better! I left my life of leasing apartments behind and moved to New York to pursue my dream of becoming an illustrator. That being said here is a preview of what has been occupying my time as of late. Nashville, TN, United States.

Sunday, May 30, 2010. Step by Step Tiger Illustration. Hello Everyone. and by looking at the amount of followers I have I do mean ONE. LOL. So its been a while since I have posted a blog partly to being busy, partly because of chronic laziness, and partly because of constant alien invasions. I assure you I'm doing every thing in my power to battle the latter. As if the title or banner for that matter hasn't given it away.) You guessed it, my step by step approach to my latest illustration! Subscribe to: ...

JEFF PRESTON-OLD SCHOOL ILLUSTRATOR: July 2010
http://oldschoolillustrator.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
The past and ongoing adventures of an American Artist. Saturday, July 24, 2010. The Serendipity of a Frazetta. Now why would this ancient picture lead a post on Frank Frazetta? Oh and by the way that's Danny Herron, Me on banjo, Rocky Jones on the right with his guitar and Chuck Wagner towering behind us in his Gallatin High School football jersey. So all my friends pretty much knew, and know the name "Frazetta" (and probably are tired of my constant adoration). Now in the mid 80's when "Automan" was at ...

http://oldschoolillustrator.blogspot.com/2011/07/sidebar-nation-interview.html
The past and ongoing adventures of an American Artist. Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Oh how I have neglected this blog, it has been a LONG time since the last installment. Checking the calendar it has been a few days over a year. Somebody slow down the clock! However to say a lot has been going on in the time from then to now would be a vast understatement. Dwight Clark, Swain Hunt and Adrian Johnson, aka "Sidebar Nation". Just launched a few days ago I hope their listeners have as much fun as we did. Enter ...

JEFF PRESTON-OLD SCHOOL ILLUSTRATOR: May 2010
http://oldschoolillustrator.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
The past and ongoing adventures of an American Artist. Monday, May 31, 2010. Memorial Day and the Illustrator. The American Illustrator has played a major role in the history of our service men and women. Before Tweets, Internet, cable, television and the widespread use of photography it was the illustrator that was the source for visual communication. It truly was the aptly named “Golden Age of Illustration”. If not you’ll recognize the illustration he posed for! WWI was a time before combat photographe...

Seiberspace Illustrator: My first step down a long road.
http://seiberspaceillustration.blogspot.com/2010/06/my-first-step-down-long-road.html
Saturday, June 5, 2010. My first step down a long road. So this Thursday held some significance for me. One, it was my birthday and two, it was the day of the auction where my Tiger painting would (hopefully) be auctioned off. Even though this painting was donated to the zoo, and I will never see any money from the sell, the event was both exciting and a little stressful. Why stressful you ask? As for me, its time to take that next step. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Nashville, TN, United States.
