The worst thing about the tar glue is that it is not only under the tiles in our floor and kitchen; it is also under our ceiling tiles! At least in the kitchen). Monday, February 16, 2015. The Great Bath Tub Unveiling of 2015. The tub is teal! I love the looks of it. The bad thing is the tub has no finished walls around it, so our unveiling just turned into a much larger project. For now we are just going to focus on getting the floor done and the new vanity in. Who knows what else is lurking or dead in the recesses of that tub enclosure. Of course Willy had to take his find to the one small piece of carpeting I own in the entire house! Links to this post.

Sunday, January 26, 2014. We have gotten the sheetrock phase in our room. I can think of another name for sheetrock, but I will keep it to myself…. I thought ripping the walls down was the worst part of this renovation process, but I was wrong- sheetrock is the worst! It took me 4 hours to scrub the dirt off the floor.
