Tuesday, April 9, 2013. McKay taught Bridget how to turn on the I-pad and find her own apps. As you can see, she quickly learned her way around! She's even taught new I-pad tricks/maneuvers to several people in our ward lol. She also knows quite a few animal sounds . . . . And body parts . . . Since learning to walk, Bridget's new source of entertainment is spinning around in circles for minutes at a time. Monday, September 30, 2013. Other than settling into the routine of school for everyone the only thing going on in September was. Here are some of my favorite parts. The high-wire motorcycle acrobat folks. Some of the other acrobat acts.check this out, the lady at the bottom is hanging by her hair from the hair of the lady above! And of course the elephants. That I hope they treat so, so, so good! My all time favorite of course was the dirt bikes in the metal ball of death! Ah well, maybe next time!

Wednesday, March 5, 2014. I love to see the temple, we went inside today! What an amazing and exciting time to be living in this area! The Gilbert Temple was dedicated this past weekend, and I'm still feeling a little "hung-over" from the spiritual high! It was so neat! Shop made mallet. Maple with hand carved handle. First time ever cooking a turkey and did it on the grill! Have a good one everyone! Materials for 3 shoji window screens and the marking stick called a shakuzue or kenzao. The stick has all of the markings for all tenons, mortise and lengths of material. To replace or make a new screen a tape measure is not needed. A shakuzue or kenzao is made for every project. Bottom of beam curved with yari-kana. Center beam joint cut for workbench.
