Cochabamba!!: Parasite-free living is good living…
http://davidlibrado.blogspot.com/2008/07/parasite-free-living-is-good-living.html
Wednesday, July 23, 2008. Parasite-free living is good living…. It has been a while since I have updated you all. Main reason for that is because I have been super busy. And the main reason that I have been super busy is because I am feeling a ton better and am able to do more stuff! Yup I have set a new record for myself here in Cocha having gone 10 days without being sick! Work…First off I should back up a bit because I don’t think I have mentioned very much about what my job is. So wha...I am the proj...

Cochabamba!!: 1st month on my 21st
http://davidlibrado.blogspot.com/2008/06/1st-month-on-my-21st.html
Saturday, June 21, 2008. 1st month on my 21st. This past Monday marked my first month living here in Bolivia. It was also my 21st birthday! I must say it was a pretty sweet birthday. A whole bunch of us hit up a shnazzy restaurant and had a great time. Later on today there is a big music thing at work so, if I am feeling well, I’ll be partying it up again with some people from work. Calle Ayacucho Dept. 4A Piso 4 Edificio San Rafael Cochabamba. To be honest I don’t know if I trust the mail service ...

a thailand travel blog...: March 2008
http://leslieinthailand.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
A thailand travel blog. Sunday, March 30, 2008. In searching the web for a suitable course, I've learned a few things. 1 Motorcycles have a graduated licensing system in Canada, just like regular drivers licenses. (M1, M2, M). 2 Taking your M1, like your G1 does not require you to do any sort of on the road training, you just get the training book, study, and take the test. 3 To take an M2 training test, you need to have had your M1 for a minimum of 60 days. I can't say I've tried it either, and there's ...

a thailand travel blog...: The Triumphant Return (to Thailand)
http://leslieinthailand.blogspot.com/2009/05/triumphant-return-to-thailand.html
A thailand travel blog. Tuesday, May 5, 2009. The Triumphant Return (to Thailand). From past experience I know that my last week here is going to pass by more quickly than I'd like it to so making the most of things is going to take some planning. I've already scheduled one more thesis research interview for Friday morning and I've emailed 3 other organizations about potentially sitting down with me as well. I'll have frisbee Wednesday and Saturday and a farewell BBQ at Sam's house on Friday night. Anywa...

a thailand travel blog...: summer fun cont'd
http://leslieinthailand.blogspot.com/2009/02/summer-fun-contd.html
A thailand travel blog. Tuesday, February 10, 2009. After much deliberation, loss of sleep, gnashing of teeth, etc. I've decided to stay in Markham for the summer. Alaska looks fantastic, it really does but I think I've just got too much on my plate to orchestrate that kind of a transition at this point. These are a bunch of the cons that tipped the scale. If I'm somewhere remote, food isn't always provided with all of the jobs (and if my experiences last summer working in remote Northern Ontario were an...

a thailand travel blog...
http://leslieinthailand.blogspot.com/2009/04/9-days-and-counting-down.html
A thailand travel blog. Thursday, April 16, 2009. 9 Days and counting down. It's begun. My time left in Chiang Mai has reached hitherto unheard of lows and it worries me. I've been researching as hard as I can for my thesis, but none of it first hand as I've been sitting on my hands waiting for ethics review board approval. It came yesterday, but they only approved half the research I wanted to do. How can I compare two sets of data if they'll only let me collect one? In other news, I've finished work (t...

http://leslieinthailand.blogspot.com/2009/03/life-is-musical.html
A thailand travel blog. Monday, March 9, 2009. Life is a musical. Holy moly am I ever busy. I mean, I know I've been saying I'm busy since I got here, but now I really mean it folks. What have I been up to recently? Lets run down the list. 1 Bangkok Hat Ultimate Frisbee Tournament. We rolled as a unit. Pre-party warm up, Practicing our moves at the hostel. Nobody wants to be the one to pull a muscle 'cause they didn't stretch enough. Bai nai krap (Where are you going)? He asked pleasantly. I wasn't o...

Monday, October 13, 2008. To start off, I want to wish you all a very happy thanksgiving! Last time I updated this blog was in August! I’m a bit behind. Sorry about that. Lots to update you on but I will try to keep this entry short. So here are a couple little snippets of some stuff that has gone down. It put to shame any roller coaster ride I have ever been on. Highly recommend it. Here’s me and Christian before the flight. Haha, I love it! October 15, 2008 at 1:48 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Cochabamba!!: From the heart of Bolivia...
http://davidlibrado.blogspot.com/2009/01/from-heart-of-bolivia.html
Friday, January 9, 2009. From the heart of Bolivia. I remember when I started this blog, I thought I would update it at least twice a month. I’ve missed that mark by a bit. But it’s a new year so I thought I´d start things off well with a short update. Thesis work is going well. During these last three months that I’m here (wild! These young guys are using hip-hop has a tool to improve the conditions for people in El Alto, one of the poorest, most marginalized cities in Bolivia. Its pretty cool stuff...
