Daily Drawings from the Boys. June 7, 2012. Late last night, we received news that my sister in law was going in for an emergency c-section because she had developed HELLP syndrome. At 1:30 am, Clara Clementine came into the world a whopping 2 lbs. 15 oz. and 16" long. This evening, Tim and I went over to the hospital to visit with Joann, her husband, Matt, and (of course) to meet Clara in the NICU. I am trying to sleep here. Leave. ME. Alone! Thursday, April 24, 2014. April 24, 2014: Titus is 7 months old. Wearing 9 month clothes. First trip to California to visit Aunty Karen, Uncle Brian, and cousins (also first airplane trip with just mommy! Sometimes sleeping through the night but more often waking up 1-2 times. Trying lots of new foods. So far he's eating most things except still not a fan of bananas or avacado. Likes olives, steak, eggs, kale, green beans, peas, carrots, etc. Loves any time he gets a little taste of sugar!

Monday, August 10, 2015. Today was a big day- Kate started preschool! She's going to The Growing Place, an in-home preschool, that a former resident's family recommended and was one of the few preschools I contacted that wasn't $400 a month. Preschool will be Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 9-11:30am. Her teachers, Ms. Whitney and Ms. Cerise, are so sweet and are going to be awesome! There is a large part of me that isn't ready to let her go. We are going to miss her so much! This is only the beginning.

Tim and Helen Manson. Saturday, December 27, 2014. Recently I had the privilege of travelling with Tutapona. Up into North Uganda on the border of South Sudan. There, Tutapona is working alongside the UN, LWF and Samaritans Purse to bring healing and hope to the 92,000 refugees that currently call the camp home. When the war in South Sudan broke out in early December 2013 thousands fled to Adjumani. Tim and I arrived there ab out a month after the conflict had erupted. Adjumani Food Gathering area BEFORE.
