Roan Creek Weaving and Farm. Roan Creek Weaving and Farm is focused on God, family, fiber arts and farming. We have the usual farm menagerie along with jacob sheep and french angora rabbits to supply my spinning wheel and looms with countless hours of occupation. We also sustainably manage over 100 acres of hardwoods, and grow a large garden of heirloom vegetables. Thursday, May 1, 2008. The Tennessee Fiber Festival is coming up! So it was definitely overdo. Well, I've started 2 blankets, all done in garter stitch, so it's cushy and mindless knitting. It stays beside me on the co...

Ramblings and adventures from a knitter and spinner who lives in Tennessee. Non-Knitting Blogs I enjoy. Fall is in the air. Cooler weather is finally here, at least this weekend. I think we're supposed to have some warm weather again this week, but this weekend has been fabulous. I had to go into town yesterday to get new brakes, yep, actually had to start my car on the weekend, which I rarely do. Anyway, it was brisk when I left, so I put on the poncho. Why did these articles of clothing go out of style?

I'm taking my knitting with me but I rarely have the opportunity to do any knitting while I'm there visiting. Cardigan was knit with Katia J...
